Chose standard shipping, ordered on May 6th, they shipped it on May 8th and it arrived on May 13th. No extra duties charged. Unsure on if I'm going to get a refund on the deposit.

Extra duties are never charged mate... Ask aramex for bill of entry to see the exact customs duty charged.

Just found the duty value of around 500 bucks surprisingly low for this. Also amazon didn't mention what happens if the duty levied is more than its estimated value. In case anyone else had similar concerns, just wanted to let them know that no additional import duties were charged.

U don't have to pay anything more.

In My case 0 import fees were charged. Hence I got back my deposit...

Amazon might pay it from their behalf. It is mentioned if you click on the Import Fees Deposit link.

This is what is says:
