Storage Solutions Seagate External Adaptor Stopped Working

Hi,

I have a Seagate Free Agent External 1TB and a Seagate 3 TB External. One adapter has been misplaced and the other one stopped working. The rating for the adaptors were 2 Amp. I tried two local adaptors with same ratings. The discs startup and work perfectly fine as far as copying data is concerned. But when I try to play videos/HD content on my LCD the frames just dont move. Video play can' t be even called jittery. It's more stuck than moving.

What seems to be the problem. Where can I procure the original adaptor. Tried looking up on e commerce sites but does not seen available.

Just let me know the adaptor requirements - amps and voltage. I will check and revert. It would be a genuine, but it will have the capability to output the required amps.

Well is it compatible. Well I tried also with similar output. But. Videos from the HDD just don't Play. They just don't move.. Frame by frame slow movement is seen. Other documents and pdf can be opened and read. Can't understand.

Check if ground is clean. I will check and get you a 12V 2A clean adaptor, after verifying its working with my goflex home.
