I would be going to Singapore for 3-4 days for work, and would be shopping for the following in my spare time:

1. IEM

2. Headphones

3. Speaker Set (2.0/ 5.1/ 7.1)

4. Thinking of Mobile - but heard the difference is not there anymore

5. Open to other electronic suggestions :p

Weight will obvi not be an issue :bleh:

So apart from Jaben, would like to know the other good places to shop.

I expect to be staying at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, so will need travel tips also.

Thx in Advance.

LCDs are cheap - even cheaper compared to the grey markets here. For instance, a Sony 40EX400 which costs about 40k INR through grey costs roughly the same or even cheaper in Sgp. Good places to shop would be Sim Lim Square, Adelphi, Funan Mall etc. Adelphi retails mostly AV related stuff such as amps, AVRs, DACs, bookshelves etc.

The iPhone 4 retails for cheap in Sgp - retails for about 30k INR through Apple retail stores and it is an unlocked one - iPhone 3GS & iPhone 4 - Apple Store (Singapore)

What else would you like to know? Btw why is weight not an issue? :)

Thanks, would appreciate more Tips also. Weight is not an issue, as my office will pay. LCD is tough, have 2 @ home already, one more will lead to Mahabharat...

DSLRs, amps, almost any consumer electronic items are cheap in Sgp devoid of any duties compared to India.
