People here have given feedback that Xiaomi phones are showing ads in apps, so you might consider that, since your mom will be the one handling the phone.

You can also consider Lenovo K8 Plus, which has really good specifications given the price range. Full HD display, 4000 mAh battery, corning gorilla glass, stock Android. It's a pretty decent phone.

There is also Nokia 2.1, but its specifications are not that good.

Lenovo today launched two new phones, Lenovo K9 and Lenovo A5, which are in your price range, so you can wait for their specifications. The launch event is underway right now.

Thanks for the info. Lenovo A5 fits my need @ 6k for 16gb. Hope the flash sale will be in upcoming week of Diwali .

The Jitterbug Smart features an interface that is easy to see and navigate with a simple list interface. The phone also boasts a large 5.5-inch display, which may be a turnoff for older users who might find the form factor awkward. It is also in the budget that you have provided

AFAIK, on an android phone the Honor simple mode is the best.

It only works only on Honor phones (all models). Unless you install a custom EMUI rom on another device.

Unlike other 3rd party launchers, it's incredibly stable and easy to use.
