Audio Sony Ericsson K750i 3.5 mm Headphone Adapter.

As the title suggests , i am looking for the K750i 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm headphone adapter , i would like to know how much it costs and where can i get it .I am from Mumbai .

Its available in the UK for 3 to 6 pounds .

Here is the link with different designs offering different functionalities :

1) http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/7265.htm

2) http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/8177.htm

Here is something which is pretty interesting :

"Hacking the SE K750i handsfree for car aux-in" , in other words modding the handsfree to fit in the 3.5 mm jack .
This is one heck of an easy and useful hack with a cell phone handsfree headset so you could hook it up to your car's aux imput. I have the SE K750i that plays mp3 with a 1GB memory stick duo pro. I hacked the headset so I could plug the phone into my car's auxillary input to play my mp3 like an iPod which I don't need anymore. If I get a phone call while the music is playing, the music will stop and automatically switch over to voice call. The voice comes out of the car speakers and I just talk normal. The mic in the handsfree picks up my voice just fine.

Edit: Sorry, thought you were referring to something else....

In any case, if u have difficulty finding the exact part, here uis what I suggest you do

(I made a similar adapter for my SL45i a few yrs ago)

Google the pin configuration for the phone....

Get a cheap charger for the phone (or just get the cable from the charger from you r neighborhood mobile repair shop)

Carefull pry apart the connector that connects to phone...

Solder out three wires, the L-R and Gnd ....superglue the connector back.....

Hook the three wires to a 3.5 mm socket ((which ll be available at any electronics part shop)....

Another question for the SE K750i users , does it support " on the fly " playlists ?? i.e can i make a playlist of my own by adding songs from different folders on the phone itself . i.e not using the computer .

Yes of course you can make playlists choosing files that are on the phone, how else do you do it!?

one more way to do is, you do it in your system & upload it along with ur files to the phone :cool2:

thats why he wants to make sure that, you can create it in ur phone

yeah you can create a new play list and add songs that are on the phone itself , if thats what you're asking

doesn't the w800i come with a 2.5 to 3.5 mm converter also compatible with k750i since they're both nearly identical in hardware?

well they are ....... ur not looking hard enough :p ........ anyway am talkin of the UK scenes ........there are 2 types ...... one with just the 3.5 inch jack ..( cant use the hands free function )...the second one which has the hands free and the 3.5 jack and the handsfree controller .
