Sony unveils PS3 and PSP plans

The reason why the UMD hasn't been cracked is because its userbase is small enough for Sony to have total control over it and constantly release updates.

Can't say the same for DVD's, the copy protections being used on DVD's releasing now are very strong and hardcore yet they can easily be countered with programs which are able to recieve updates or patches for that particular security, like DVDFAB Decrypter.

Promote UMD's on external party DVD players like Samsungs or Panasonic and on PC's and you'll have bootleg copies circulating all over Asia in a couple of weeks.

Blu-Ray is going in the same road....
