you can get sony vaio CB15 for 52k, 55k is the MRP and the warranty can be extended to 3yrs by paying just 2500 :)

i will advise you to get the sony vaio CB15+extended warranty as you will get a better CPU and also 3yrs warranty all inclusive in that 54.5k

Don't get xps 15 with i3 2310. Its inferior to even i3 370m. I don't think it makes sense spending 55k and getting an entry level processor. Either get i5+ b+rg xps or get the cb15.
The difference between i3 2310 and i5 2410 is far greater than difference in quality between the vaio and xps screen.
Xps 15 screen is better sure, but just slightly.

I have a lot better configuration for the money u want to pay...

I have dell xps 15 L502x with following configuration..

first of all it is the current model available from dell...

Condition is 9.5/10.. Every thing is fine just it's 10 months old...with 3 yrs of accidental warranty with complete cover..warranty..no scratches ..just a minor scratch near trackpad.. Shown in picture.. Check my tread for details..

Config:

1. i7 2630 processor..

2. 6 gb ram ddr3 1300 MHz..

3. 500 gb hdd.. 7200 rmp..

4. Creative xfi mb sound card..

5. Backlite keyboard..

6. 9 cell battery in excellent condition.. Have been using it wisely, like not charging and using simultaneously..

7. 2 x USB 3.0

8. Bluetooth 3.0

9. Just the screen is 1366 x 768.. But u don't need a full hd on 15 in screen.

10. Nvidia gt 540 graphics with Optimus 3000 intel..

It plays a lot of recent games at stock resolution.. Please check my classified link..

I was planning to buy the Asus K Series K53SV-SX521D

I will be able to get it for 46k in SP Road, Bangalore

Config:

Core i7 2670QM

8GB DDR3 RAM

750 GB HDD

Nvidia GT540M 2GB

USB 3.0

15.6" 720p screen

The only cons are that it doesn't have a backlit kb, has a mediocre 0.3 MP front cam.

Do you think that I should go ahead and buy it? I think its extreme VFM! (Heard good things abt it, good build quality too!)
