Suggest a decent Bluetooth headset for Calling

Gaurish

This is for dad. he receives LOT of calls & sometimes, even takes them while driving which is a cause of concern for me. so I thought of giving him a bluetooth headset.

Requirements:

* Should be comfortable to wear for long period of time & should be have nice grip so it doesn't fall off ears(Most important)

* Solely needed for calling only , he doesn't listen to music on his phone

* Should have loud volume & good mic which would work well in noisy environments. so noise cancellation would be nice to have

* Long batter life

* works with Nokia E5 which has bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP

Budget: if entry level headsets can be fulfill my requirements, nothing better than that. But I am ready to splurge more, if required. so, I don't have a set budget for this. just want a decent bluetooth headset for calling

Please suggest

Can you state a budget?

Having owned 2 headsets, I would say skip the entry level BT headsets for now, unless you are absolutely budget cringed. I would suggest a decent Planctronics BT headset (best SQ among peers). But since you own a Nokia one, I would gladly suggest the one I am using currently, Nokia BH-609, which should sell at 2k to 2.5k.

Reason I am suggesting the Nokia headset is, all Nokia BTs above that series have an extra button which gives a speedial like option. It is not gimmicky as I has initially thought of it and it actually worked quite well, when I was using it with a C7. The extra button can take single click, double click and hold options, giving effectively 3 options, but practically speaking keeping just one is safe as you can be sure of whom you are calling than wondering if the extra click registered or not. The SQ is also good and comparable to bundled earphones.

I currently use it with my Android and that extra button is disfunctional. You can take advantage of the Nokia specific compatibility. Noise cancellation is good, as is battery backup. Fit is good and comfortable. I use it for talking daily for 2-3hours.(!)

If you are not interested in the 607 or 609 (cant rem which one), then go for Planctronics. They have the best ones. Do keep a look out for the noise cancellation feature. It's a must have.

By paying more than 3k you get better noise cancellation features. But I will keep that for later.

I am not sure how that is possible. I spent 3.2k on it. It can't be that less. It might be a fake, there is no other explanation I can think of.

btw, BH-609 is available only for 885?

I really think this is the best BT for your requirements:

@2500 adexmart seems to have it for the lowest price. I strongly suggest you get this.

I'll dig up a few alternatives in a while...lunch time

When I was looking for a headset, I wanted to buy either one of these:

or the 609 of course.

I didn't find anything more interesting. There might be and I'm sure there are but I couldn't research more. I guess I do not have much to offer hereon
