Budget 0-20k Suggest a laptop backpack for 17" laptop

I am currently using the following SwissGear Laptop Bag which I bought back in 2012. It had been used a lot and now seems to be on its last legs with the fabric ripping apart at few places but most importantly, its shoulder straps giving way and have been torn beyond repair. I fear that some day while walking with the backpack, it would just drop off from my shoulders.

I am now looking for a new Backpack and would be buying from a US website like amazon or something else. I don't have a budget set as such but obviously won't spend a ton as well. I had a budget of under $100 but if something is really worth, I am ok considering spending more. Here are my requirements..

1. Durable and reliable and should have good warranty (hopefully worldwide).
2. Should be able to fit 17" laptop. My sony vaio laptop is 15.6" screen so need one with min 17" capability.
3. Lots of pockets - Need multiple pockets to store various things. In office I don't carry anything except laptop, power cord and mouse but can carry more if going for vacation or traveling away from work etc.
4. Small top pocket (right where handle is there), this can be used to keep keys, a pen, small stuff like mint etc.
5. I think the "checkpoint"/"smartscan" thing where you do not need to take laptop out of the bag and the bag can do a 180 degree split seems like a good convenience factor. Not super necessary but good to have.

I went through some reddit threads and I even got to know about some brands which I had never even heard of. One expensive but highly rated bag I found was this..

$154

Any other suggestions ?
