Hi
one of my friend wants a SecondHand mobile......but has xtreme tight budget.....just Rs.5000/-
Company...though first priority NOKIA...followed by Moto & Sony.
So even m confused what to refer too...so guyz plz help.

He wants following features:--

Max SMS saving Capacity [over 100 + Can type over 300 characters]
Assign diff. RingTones to diff. Contact
FM
IF possible, Color Display
4 -5 OnBoard memory
Bluetooth

if ur friend didnt wanted bluetooth he could have gotten phones brand new...

anyways..within 5k

u should be able 2 find various cellphones....it all depends where he gets it from..
u can try to look for Nokia Ngage,3660,.

Sony T610,T630

@ icefusion - can you get the ngage(not qd) in 5k????? (my friend is searching for one but everyone is quoting for 8-9k for a new one of course)
sony and moto wont have fm for that budget
so nokia is the only option

yeah right...i forgot...FM :p

Ngage's production has been stopped so it is damn hard to find...and if thats available for 8 - 9 k.its stupid cause NgageQD comes for 7.5k with bill...

ok
now the friend decided just:-

COLOR DISPLAY
3-4 MB MEMORY
FM
so which brand new piece [NOKIA] could b affordable upto 5 k ???
else any second hand.... bt all NOKIA

shall he go for SECOND HAND 6610 ??? wht it 'll cost?

buy the brand new nokia 3200 as said by sridhanush
its available for 5.5k with bill and warranty so you can have it without bill and warranty for arround 5k
its good to have a new phone than the old one

Find a new(nearly impossible to get)/second hand Nokia 3660 if you can. That'll satisfy whatever he needs. 6MB onboard memory + 16MB MMC(expandable with bigger cards), bluetooth, IR, symbian, huge 64K color display, infinite sms storage capacity (limited by available memory), mp3 playback(albeit mono) etc. It doesnt have FM radio though and its a bit bulky. Those are the only downers i can think of.
