PC Peripherals Suggest PC for 30k

Need suggestions for a new PC.

* Budget 30k

* Need full PC, including monitor and basic speakers. Exclude UPS.

*Will be mainly used for internet, office applications, some casual gaming and movies.

*No overclocking.

*Need a system that can play games like Batman and Wolverine at medium-good quality at about 1280x960. Can onboard graphics achieve that? I guess not.

* A 19" monitor should suffice.

* Buying from Kolkata. No second-hand hardware. Intel config desired. The PC will probably be retained for atleast 5 years.

Thanks guys...

Bit out of touch with current deals.

Edit:

I got this from Karthi's Nov 2009 suggestion thread.

Processor: AMD AthlonII X2-240 - 3k

Motherboard: Asus M2N68-AM PLUS - 2.3k

RAM: Transcend 2GB DDR2 800MHz - 2.1k

GPU: Palit 9600GT 512MB DDRIII - 4.5k

HDD: Seagate 500GB SATAII 7200.12 series- 2.4k

Cabinet: Zebronics Bijli ATX - 1.1k

SMPS: Zebronics Pro(Real Watts)-350W - 1.5k

Optical Drive: L.G. GH22NS30 SATA/Samsung SH-S22F SATA - 1.1k

Speakers: Altec Lansing 2.1 BXR1121 - 1.1k

Monitor: Samsung S2033SW - 7.3k~

Keyboard: Samsung Pleomax - .2k

Mouse: Logitech Optical - .4k

Total 28-30k.

What would be the intel proc/mobo alternatives at around the same price point.

Also Wouldnt 4670 be a better alternative, considering its cooler and around the same performance. The PC is for my inlaws. It will be gamed on rarely, maybe twice a year when there are some visitors. So 10-15 days a year it will be gamed on :p

Processor: Intel Pentium E5200 - 3.1k
Motherboard: Gigabyte EG31S2L - 2.4k

GPU: Sapphire HD4350 512MB - 2k
HDD: Seagate 500GB SATAII 7200.12 series- 2.4k
Cabinet: Zebronics Bijli ATX - 1.1k
SMPS: Zebronics Pro(Real Watts)-350W - 1.5k
Optical Drive: L.G. GH22NS30 SATA/Samsung SH-S22F SATA - 1.1k
Speakers: Altec Lansing 2.1 BXR1121 - 1.1k
Monitor: Samsung S2033SW - 7k~/ Dell E1910IN - 6.5k
Keyboard: Samsung Pleomax - .2k
Mouse: Logitech Optical - .4k
I think this config would suffice for a PC that is used so rarely for gaming. A HD4350 would do for light games and HD4670 would lie there as a waste.

If its an office rig you can't expect to play games like Batman.

The igp will suffice for you needs for Wolverine

+1 for Anubis’s suggestion. AMD platform makes more sense in that price range. I’d suggest getting the Cooler Master Elite 335 with SMPS instead of the Zebronics one and be immune to cabinet and power issues.
