Loved the first one. The graphics still look stunning for a game of it's time. Voice acting was a big plus for this game. Definitely picking this one up for the PC. Although the legit version has the "Install-3-times-then-f-off" DRM limit. :mad:

Of course if you uninstall, you get the license back. But the real PITA is that Secure ROM is hell of a lot buggy. Many people have had problems getting back their license even after uninstall.

you're wrong. for this game, 3 times and then you're done. and this game doesn't use securom.

after 3 installations are over you can give atari a phone call and they can let you have an additional activation if they feel that you have a legitimate case.

as to why they try this nonsense, i have no idea. even companies like ea have realized that it's a bad idea to use this kind of drm and yet atari continues to do it. they are going to lose a lot of sales and goodwill because of this nonsense. the backlash has already started infact - The Chronicles of Riddick DRM Sparks Outcry - Shacknews - PC Games, PlayStation, Xbox 360 and Wii video game news, previews and downloads

Man.. that is a sad piece of SHIT! Now again, am sure they must be having some parameters further to meet their "legitimate case". Ppl need to go and shake em like hell to wake em up!

it's even worse because it's atari. they have a history of being bought and sold so many times it's not even funny. sure they might have someone doing customer support for this game for a few months or a year or maybe more... but how long will it last? there's no guarantee their activation servers or support will be around 3-4 years from now because there's no guarantee that the company will be around that long :bleh: once their support stops (and it will eventually), anyone who has bought the game will be stuck with a coaster of a dvd.
