I have the K70 RGB where for some reason the lighting won't kick in till the computer boots into windows and the corsair utility starts. wonder if that's the way its supposed to be and your keyboard does the same?

Yea. Then got the idea of a cheap build using a Xeon. Like few times better than my NUC. Also, I will shuck all the 2.5 external drives i have, around 30 TB into that.

Already bought the parts.. like 210USD in total.
