hi,
i bought a xperia x10i from my friend.It was brought from uk and when i installed my airtel sim and it is asking some unlock code at beginning.
My friend told me that the service provider was orange in UK.
can i unlock it free of cost ? or i need to pay??
 
Unlock is not free

it will cost u in the range of 800-1400 depending upon the service or unlock process u choose

for lower cost u need to visit a mobile repair shop

& if u want to do it on u r own or buy a code it will be more expensive
 
Open Ebay Uk page, type Xperia X10 Unlock in the search bar and click list by price. Go for the cheapest option that supports unlocking from Orange from a high rated seller. Don't forget to read what the item description says before going ahead with it :)
