Upgrading dashboard version of JTAG'ed Xbox 360

I have Xbox 360 which I wasn't using since a long time (last used in 2012), and now looking to use it again. It's JTAG'ed using the RGH, and the chip inside I think is coolrunner.

Anyway, the current dashboard version on it is 2.0.14699. Can anyone help me out with how to go about flashing it to the latest dashboard version? Which is the most recent dashboard which won't remove the JTAG? Any guide or points would really help.

Reason for update is that I'm looking to play new games, and assuming they would require an update. I also have the RAW NAND file with me.

You'll need to use the latest version of xeBuild to build a image of the latest dashboard for your console. You need to have your original NAND and your CPU key for it. I'll PM you the link which details everything step-by-step.

It's been ages since I have updated mine too. I'm going to flash it soon as my brother wants to play the Rise of Tomb Raider on it.
