I used the i3 skylake one. No, I was not editing video or anything. If that is your need then you should be correct. It was nice to use. That's all.

I have two of them They're fine mostly, but Im trying to find something that can be small-ish and yet carry a desktop cpu. Cause there isnt going to be video editing or gaming so wont need GPU, but browsing/multitasking/light development itself also is taxing these days. A powerful cpu can breeze through it,

Underpowered? I picked up an i7 for my main office VCS solution with a 850 EVO m2. Its way too fast.

Have a i5 6600 with 16gigs of ram in a mini-itx box (you can save quite a bit on a bigger setup). Working pretty well for ~5months or so. Haven't used my linux based dev machine since I built this.
