Audio What earphone to buy in the 5k range?

Hi ,
Looking to buy an earphones that can be used with my OneplusOne and ipad mini2 and ipod shuffle

Budget : 5k range
Want it to be comfortable to use for long hours and also good fit that won't come out or fall easily
I will be using it at work , while riding bike and at the gym.
Want it to isolate outside noise (like talking , honking ,etc) to a decent extent.
Not really looking for noise cancellation , but don't mind it either .
Will be listening to music , podcasts and videos.

How is this audio technica one?

heard it's best for it's price . But the earbuds look like it'll come out or fall easily while riding or sweating .
I like the design in Bose one which looks like it has tight fit , but the starting model is like 8k and find it to be expensive .

I'm also looking for earphones in the same range.

I've been using Bose in-ear headphones for a couple of years. I got it for free from some credit card points. Despite the normal hate against Bose and their general overpricedness and low quality, these headphones were really good and I loved them to death. They recently got damaged due to rough use.

I really liked the design of the earbuds where it would fit into the grooves of the ears. Would be really great if I could get another pair with goof audio quality and the same earbud design. Like this audio technica one: http://www.amazon.in/Audio-Technica-ATH-CKX5-In-ear-headphones/dp/B00EO3DLYQ[DOUBLEPOST=1440214140][/DOUBLEPOST]The CKX9 from audio technica seems to have really good reviews and is available for 3k. http://www.amazon.in/Technica-ATH-C...?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1440213811&sr=1-76

Have you tried these while wearing a helmet? I want it to be comfortable when I'm riding.
I'm in bangalore and can't find a showroom where I can go and try them.

PS : I'm talking about the audio technica ones as Bose is out of my budget.

I'm not sure about the audio technica ones, but the Bose ones were very comfortable. I could have them on and watch a two hour movie and not feel even the slightest bit of discomfort.

Get one of the Brainwavz , m1 to m5. See which one suits your music type or preference.
Havent heard the AT iems so cannot comment.

I have always liked the klipsch s4 too.

I think Bluebuds X is the best in ear earphones but out of budget otherwise go for Klipsch R6. Both are best in range.

Check the link below:

nothing in particular. just want to listen to music while riding and wearing helmet. should have enough loudness and good noise isolation.

You can buy SoundMAGIC E80
The E80 was an epic listening experience, and ranks extremely high on my list of IEMs, ahead of the likes of the VSONIC GR07BE and Dunu DN1000. Their price to performance ratio is legendary, and their timbre rich midrange presentation is world class. If you want to experience some of the best “bang for your buck” earphones on the planet, I would hope that these are on the top of that list.
  • Audiophile sound quality
  • Fantastic resolution
  • Timbre and separation
  • Great accessories package
  • Out of this world price to performance ratio

Could not stop myself from commenting on your post.
Bangalore + Riding + loudness and good noise isolation = Buddy, you are inviting trouble.
Please don't make a fool of yourself on a public forum.
No hard feelings.
Just a few cents of moral advise.

Thanks . But I'm not sure how well it'll fit and stay put while riding. I already own SM IEMs (bought a basic one for 1k or so) and they keep falling out even when sitting still. The design looks similar.

Hi there,

I have been using several IEMs trust me the new E80 are a killer! They are audiophile IEMs and they are the best audiophile earphones you can buy at the moment it is the improved version of their award winning E10S which I feel is better than the Sennheiser CX series. Go buy em !

Watch this video it helped me buy this:
