What watch are you wearing today???

Is it advisable to regularly Hand Wind Automatic Mechanical Movement Watch or Left it alone so it stops - Which one is Good Practice?

Please reply. Thank You.

I had a word with a an awesome guy who makes beautiful watches on same topic, as per him it is advisable to wind your watches atleast once every 15 days. Neglecting an Auto/Mechanical for very long period without winding is a bad idea. Winding watch every day would be a pain if you have more than 5 watches. Also, not all automatic are hand wound so investing in a multi-winder is a good idea if you have large number of Automatics (It won't wind Kinetic though) but alas winders are costlier in India.

Earlier, I use using any Autos as a beater just to keep them wound but a bang on desk and those are back in box. I wear them now when I am on an outing/party or have a meeting and wind them all once a month and put em back in the box :p

Could you help me reliable source for NATO straps. I stay in NCR .

Hello, I'm going to sound a little dampening here but the NATO straps available in India aren't exactly of good quality. There was a GO Thread here on TE a while back on NATO straps which had some of the loveliest NATO straps but that's sadly over now.

To get at least decent quality, wearible NATO straps try AliExpress. Here is a store on AliExpress that I have bought from and they do offer some nice, decent quality straps:

I'm assuming your referring to the "OnTheLevel" store. The leather quality is decent. Soft, supple and can be worn straight out of the box. The designs are quite lovely. For the price, it really is nice. I say order one and then go from there if you like them. I have read that these are the guys who supply to Strapcode as well.

WOTD: Casio A158 on a black and white stripe Nato. (The camera is a vintage Hot Shot Mini from the 1980's. It was made by Photophone Industries and sold for roughly Rs.75/- back then. It uses a standard 110 film and has a color-corrected double element lens).

This is how small the camera actually is:

This is my daily wear SKX-007,though now its resting after a bad fall has made it run 2 minutes a day fast.

The original 7s26c movement started to run very fast after being dropped. Then, trying to bring it back into regulation, the hairspring was messed up.Hence went for a movement swap with a hacking-handwinding NH36 movement and a signed SARB059 crown.
I dropped it many times after that but it was running within 3 seconds a day(no kidding). The latest drop seems to have been the last straw.Heres a under the hood picture-hopefully all it needs is regulation again.

It needs some more things though, the bezel gasket got pinched and I had to remove it.
