PC Peripherals Which 450W SMPS to buy

i want to replace a SMPS from one of my old computers

It's a very basic machine but want to buy a reliable SMPS of 450W
No graphic card

Other then corsair vs450 any other lower priced suggestions ?

Choose your smps accordingly.
Also, get a 550w one vs a 450w in case the difference in price is not huge for you.
Future you will thank me if you upgrade your PC down the line with more power hungry hardware.

And please, never cheap down on your SMPS.

If you dont have a graphics card, then you can probably get away with the vs 450. But, please know that this PSU is not good for anything except very basic computing. These days, only Seasonic is the brand from which you can buy a PSU with your eyes closed. I recommend seasonic m12ii520 (520W) for around 6500 INR. Cheap PSUs can cause heavy damage to other components, so please never cheap down on those. Please take some time to read up online about PSUs and check reviews from johnnyguru, tomshardware etc. before deciding on one. e.g. from Corsair, CS series is the minimum I would go with personally. Anything from seasonic is good. EVGA is also good but not available in India AFAIK. And dont even consider buying Coolermaster, rosewill, VIP, Thermaltake, Antec, and other brands in India.

I don't think the list being 2 year old matters.

There are not a lot of new entry level smps released every year anyway. The list is still very relevant.

And yea, even I'm in tier 2

The Seasonic re-branded corsairs were the best, cheaper and reliable , i have a corsair cx 400 running for 7 years with heavy usage.
