Which Camera to buy ?

I know this question has been asked a lot of times and I have searched this forum and all I led to was people asking for advice on the basis of budget alone. I did not see much posts (may be I saw one) about someone explaining his requirements for buying camera along with budget. So here are my requirements:

  • Printing: Yes, I will shoot and print for keeping them inside my album (hardcopy). I dont know what or how Megapixels play role in image priting quality. I just know that I want it to good enough for printing.
  • Video: I absolutly do not need 1080p recording. 720p is good.
  • Compact: Size must be small, compact e.g. I want to fit it into my pocket.
  • Price: 5K-6K. (I think this is the funniest part if you compare it to above three :eek:hyeah: )
 
^^ f3 doesnt have image stabilization :(

panasonic ls5 is better at this budget :)

These brands i.e olympus, fujifilm, casio etc etc - are they worth it ?

i mean how is their A.S.S ? product quality and output ?

i have rarely seen people using these brands :(

Is it better to go for less feature sony,nikon or more feature olympus,fujifilm ?
