Wifi calling in Bangalore

I have wifi calling working in Bangalore on Jio. However, it is not working on Airtel. Anybody has it working on Airtel in Bangalore?

In iphone xr, both jio and airtel working. In note 9, only airtel is working. broadband is from airtel!

According to Airtels FAQ roaming is not supported, guess that is my problem. However JIO wifi calling is working fine for me which is also roaming sim and is supported as mentioned on their website.

Do only some phones have this wifi calling support? Seems weird when even in old Android phones we could call though WhatsApp or other VoIP apps.

I have One plus 7 and WiFi calling works for me on my Airtel number and through ACT Broadband.

Even I have issues on my 11 max pro sometimes it work. Jio works flawlessly on same network same phone.
