Window AC .8T to 1T

Hello,

I'm planning to buy a window AC shortly and would get suggestion from you on what brand to buy. Budget is upto 15,000 including Stabilizer.

On a budget, I'd have to say a Samsung or LG Window AC (also recommended by AC Technicians).

If you are overly concerned about the *star* rating, consider Voltas.

Capacity depends on how big the room (intended for) is.

Given that you have a fixed budget, narrow down options accordingly.
 
no never go for Voltas Window AC.... now adays even they import everything from China and no quality components when compared to Samsung or LG.

I personally own 2 Voltas Vertis windows AC, the internal components are Samsung Compressor, Crompton Greaves Fan Motor, where as the other unit has Matushta Compressor and GE Fan Motor. Since i bought these 5 yrs ago i was lucky to have quality components...

But now last weekend thought of upgrading to Split and checked voltas, god... I cannot find the make of Fan motor nor the Compressor.

Better go for Samsung Or LG... which is always better than Voltas... Or O general if you have the money.... Samsung or LG cannot be compared with O General

i need to buy an AC(1~1.5tonnes) which offers-

excellent cooling

should be cheap

what are the models/brands i should be looking at?

also do i need a stabilizer?

Quoting again, for your benefit.

Given the numerous brands to choose from, the most important factor is how reliable they are, on a long term basis.

These days, ACs come with a rotary compressor, and the cooling efficiency does not vary significantly across different brands. Although brands like OG, manage to offer improved performance, but at a price.

And yes, you will need a stabilizer. Point to note, some dealers offer a good deal on the AC+Stabilizer combo.
