HTPC? As per benchmarks it can play most games on 1080p high setting. Why would you use a powerful gpu for an htpc. A 2k gpu is enough for an htpc for h264 hw decoding.

When you use madvr as output, it gobbles up as much shader power as you can throw at it.

I was looking at the prices of the 1080 ti - they have dropped a few grand below 60k for the first time. A decent aftermarket one is in the 63-64k range. These used to be 70+
