Lied about extent of hardware damage, refuses to acknowledge or resolve.

Disappointing episode, to the say the least. TE PM and WhatsApp chat records are attached, personal information has been redacted to protect our privacy.

Here is the summary:

1. In the original post, the seller Mr @ayaskant12 implies the issue with "C" key is mostly software related. (See the OP).
2. We bargain for a while and then on 25th of July, he informs me that 3 keys are affected now - Z C V. (See attached TE PM shots).
3. He insists all the keys are working after an update, July 26th. (See last TE PM screenshot).
4. I make a reasonable offer considering the involved risks. He accepts and we continue on WhatsApp.
5. We conclude the deal and Surface is dispatched. All is well so far, minus the "somewhat unpredictable" keys.
6. I receive the laptop and the "C" key is broken. ENTER keys is also not working. I share this feedback with him. (See WhatsApp screenshot)
7. He denies at first, insisting it's not broken. (See WhatsApp screenshots)
8. Says there is nothing wrong with the ENTER key. This is dated 31st of July 2023.
9. The next day, on 1st of August, he reluctantly accepts that "C" key is broken. Offers to buy a replacement. No apologies, no tentative dates, nothing.
10. On 2nd of August I find out he made a post on Reddit on 24th of June about the ENTER key problem.
11. I confront him with this new information which clearly highlights he deliberately hid information before the deal.
12. He loses his cool, starts to argue, and issue strange statements like "keys will heal". Lies again about the ENTER key.
13. Instead of offering solutions to my polite and calm requests, he calls me names and dares me to post it here.
