Unfortunately passwords do not get migrated from IPB to VB so everyone has to go through a password reset. I know it is an inconvenience but can't help it. :(

You can announce it and make it visible at login page so users will get to know about it :)

@Renegade - Tags are working, but however I miss that nice notifications of IPB.

And also conversations like IPB possible in VB ?
 
Anyways, Couple of things I have noticed so far..

- Avatar is not working
- Member title has little more left margin

+ve side :
- Mobile theme is much better than IPB. (JQuery Mobile framework power :D)
- Love vB Likes system. ;)
- vBSEO will take care of re-indexing TE pages on Search Engines.

Notifications are all good if there is a way to get notification if someone quote's our post. Rest of the things in Notification are almost same. Agree with you about Private Messaging.
Edit : Automerge isn't working.

One more Observation..

Just when I Log in, I get the Message that I Do not have permissions to enter the page. Then I Just reload/type techenclave.com in URL and it opens!!
Did anyone Expereince it ?? avi How to change Settings so as to see the Avatar!?

EDIT: Great that Tagging works! Use @ instead of #

EDIT 2: About notifications! Once I click a Notification,it takes me to the Likes Tab/Messages tab and I gotta click on the post to go there..
Can you make a Generalized/Customized Notifs like, we get the post/message in Notifs itself? I think it will be very helpful!!

@YashBhatt There are options in tagging too! just checck!! :)
BTW All of you visit Settings->General Settings(Under My Account Tab) and Make necessary changes as you Wish...

How to change the tag Line..
Like "Priviliged USers" to something else.?
It was present in previous settings.. But not now..

btw @Renegade , I think techenclave.com , techenclave.com/forums , techenclave.com/index & techenclave.com/index.php should be redirected to techenclave.com/forum

these URLs where used in earlier IPB, now lots of users getting page not found errors.

Well, are you using any hack/plugin for it or you coded it yourself? May be there is a way to retrieve specific post URL and use it as a referance in Notifications code where the Quote notification exists. Just a thought, havent seen any sort of vB notification code yet :-P

Edit - We can live with the existing system too. just we will never know which post was quoted and in which thread.
 
I came to your post after clicking on the notification. So what do you mean we will never know which post and which thread?
