This is for all the user who really want to know the truth If you have any question please ask me but DONT SPAM MY POST because i drove bloody 2 hrs (oneway) to get to the dealer's godown and also have wasted my time in doing some research.
We all appreciate your effort.
1. My first point to all the member RIVUNITED DOESNT BUY PERFUMES FROM MR. ATUL GUPTA OR MR. AJIT GUPTA and i dont know how the hell the packages had their name (may be they are magician) but i dont care because rivunited doesnt even buy perfumes from the dealer he works on commission basis where he get some amount per bottle.
Two things which are out of any sort of speculation and are cold hard facts as of now -
1. A lot of members have received packages which have the name and phone number of Atul Gupta. Where they come from, who puts them there, is till unclear, but it is a fact that they are coming with this mans name written on them and he is suposed to be some sort of perfume dealer.
2. Rivunited had earlier claimed that he was doing all this for no profit of his own. Your discovery proves that he has lied to all of us at least on this point. This leaves doubt for future references and maybe he is still lying to us all.
2. The dealer is a WHOLE SELLER and is not interested in opening his own shop.
This is what happened when we went to his godown we were shocked to see that he's not a dealer only for perfumes but he deals in lot of imported stuff like Branded jeans, shoes, shirts, T-shirts, designer expensive pens, wallets,ladies bags, zippos etc. etc. the dealer is verywell aware that riv united is selling his products on T.E and also on some other site ( rivunited did'nt wanted me to mention because of the mess here, rivunited told me that he started selling on that other site few days before he started selling here and its going well.
we tested around 10 different bottles and found it to be okay( may be i dont know to test orignal perfumes) but they were pretty okay.
When you yourself say that you dont know how to test originals(Perfumes), then what is the whole point of you going and testing perfumes? A big godown with all sorts of imported stuff doesnt mean squat! If you visit Gaffar Market in New Delhi, you will come across scores of shops which sell fake goods, which are very close to the originals in look and feel. Here you can take your pick out of Nike Shox, Adidas Barricade and Cat Steeltoes etc for 1500 bux. All are made in nepal but are labeled as made in china,vietnam or wherever the original product comes from. Same is the case with clothes. Excellent copies of branded clothes made in thailand, all at a fraction of the cost of the originals. Not to mention Fake watches too. based on our experience with his fake perfumes, It is possible that Rivunited's dealer is also into the same business as the shopkeepers from gaffar market.
1.Rivunited is 100 PERCENT HONEST AND INNOCENT. rivunited himself didnt had so much information about the dealer unitl we met the dealer together. He is just a college kid trying to make some pocket money in a FAIR WAY. we all had options of buying sealed boxed perfume but everyone wanted to take a chance with the tester and check it.
He is not at all honest, in fact quite the opposite. He had written many times on the forum that he has been buying from this dealer for ages and now and wanted the members at TE to take some benefit of his dealers excellent prices. Acting all holier than thou, faking an act of charity all along. As a matter of fact, your findings have taken the mask of his little charade! For all we know, he has duped us all, sold us fake goods and is laughing all the way to the bank.
May be they have some personal grudges against him or they cant see him doing so good here at T.E or whatever.
hmmmmm...why would anybody have any grudges against him....lets see he only - lied to us, took our money and gave us a fake product!
Or reactions are not grudges, its a basic reaction which a person gives, when he or she is duped. At least we dont want other people to loose thier hard earned money like we did.
The best thing Rivunited could do was to offer us the FULL REFUND if we were not satisfied with the product. So i dont understand why blame him for evrything.
Firstly since he is getting commission on the goods he sells, he should refund all those who wish first and then ask back for his fake perfumes. Secondly not all of us have the time to pack and ship the goods back to him and thirdly it is a tad difficult now to trust him again after all he has lied and duped us.
This dealer is something and he also wanted to sell branded shoes, jeans thru rivunited on T.E. And i can bet my life on it that they were orignal, packed in orignal company plactic with proper tags. All the member on T.E across India would have benifited from this deals. ( even though he only sell bulk pieces i managed to get 2 jeans for myself). But thanks to some oversmart members who kept on speculating informations and were determine to prove rivunited wrong.
Sure a lot of members would love to wear fake clothes and smell of fake perfumes. My my, we oversmart members just saved them their hard earned money!!!!
More than 100 members have purcased perfume bottles from Rivunited but only few of them have problems and rivunited is willingly giving them their refund. But still they have a problem i dont understand the reason.
IS THERE ANY MEMBER ON T.E WHO HAS HAD BAD EXPRIENCE DEALING WITH RIVUNITED IN TERMS OF REFUND OR EXCHANGE PLEASE SHARE.
I think MODS should step in now stop members from posting who has got nothing to do with this thread or who has already recieved their refund. Every one knows that there are only few members who instigated this and
daredevil man ITS TOO OBVISOUS NOW STOP ADVERSTISING FOR MR. ATUL GUPTA.
daredvil is not advertising for Atul Gupta, he is trying to open your eyes to this guy selling fakes! The point he and others like him are making is that, dont buy these perfumes if are looking for originals, in case you dont mind fakes, you can get it cheaper elsewhere.
Rivunited has manage to find a dealer who directly get his goods from the docks. Otherwise from the docks it goes to the distributor, then to retailer, so the final product when it reaches us is obvisoulsy more expensive. In near future GO could have been the best thread on T.E where members across the India could have managed to get not only perfumes and many other stuff at a rate impossible to get at a retailer.

TESTERS DO NOT COME WITH CAP generally nozzle is covered with a round plastic or paper. So i always knew these are not the proper tester and that is the reason i dint participate in GO1. but looking at everyone comment i was forced to try few perfumes in 2nd GO and i was satisfied and happy. I dont care instead of 12 hrs it only last 6 hrs ( my 2 bottles was absoutely fine but some member had prob with longivety) but these are not FAKE and for the price am paying it saved me some money, am very happy and will continue to buy from Rivunited.
MODS there in no way Rivunited should be ban. its pretty clear now some members dont have a problem with the product but with rivunited and thts why even after hey got their refund they still choose to spam the thread.
Please continue Rivunited This is GR8!!!
No offence, but, you have contradicted yourself. You had some doubts on the tester bottles and agree that some members have had problems with longevity. maybe you have not used original perfumes long enough to know that the smell differs by a lot too. Maybe you are fine by buying these fakes at cheap rates but for many like me, this perfume is as good as catpiss.
Also if a member goes through a bad experience with another member selling goods on the forum, its always better for the forum if he shares his experience, even if he has gotten his refund. At least a lot of people will be prevented from getting duped and have their share of anxiety.
