Hi,

I want to buy E6. Would E6 increase the sound level for M20 headphones? Currently my computer gives very low sound output for M20.

Could we expect E6 stocked up? Or is it Discontinued?

E6 are for portable IEMs. We have not tried it pairing up with M20. Could you update us with the model/make of your soundcard.

Tried to buy the E 17 with credit card from your site. Got this message 'We are sorry for the inconvenience. The PayPal account authentication settings are not yet set up, or the API security information is incorrect. We are unable to complete your transaction. Please notify the store owner so they can correct this problem. (10002)'

thanks for that ! pls PM me your account details then.

and yes, i read the E11 doesnt have much effect on the M50 as the M50 are already pretty bassy headphones. also, another thing is, i have a xonar DX. the M50 would be used mostly with the PC. does any among the E7/E10 actually trump the xonar DX to justify being used with the M50 over the xonar ?!

am considering fiio for the M50 mainly because its a pain to everytime go to the back of my large PC cabinet and disconnect the 5.1 system's cables and connect headphone cable(s) to listen to music. was thinking that with something like this amp, i could somehow connect the amp to my PC through USB and the M50 in turn to the amp. is this really possible ?

thanks !

Could you explain it. I am little confused by your question.

I haven't really tested the m50 with both the Xonar and the Fiio so I am unsure if the Fiio will provide better quality sound.

Coming to your second question however, it is very much possible. :)

Basically if you disconnect the usb cable to the Fiio DAC then your onboard sound card (with your speakers connected) will start working again. If you wish to hear the headphones again then simply reconnect the USB cable to the DAC and your sound card will be disabled and the DAC will work.

Alternatively you can go to your audio device control panel in Windows and choose which audio sound card should be the default sound card. (Both the Fiio DAC AND the sound card will always be connected simultaneously). So in option 2 there is no need to even disconnect the DAC from the PC.

I do something very similar with my Fiio E10. :)

hello prisitinenote what amp would you recommend to use with PS3 . Main purpose is amp and volume control. How good is fiio E17 for gaming.

Try the E10, it could serve you well with gaming platform. Never tried the E17 for gaming, most of the guys buy it for music. But it will be a good idea if some of the user could give you a feedback back on the gaming.
