You can now select a new skin from the skin chooser at the bottom left corner -> Dark Responsive

This I feel is a much better alternative to the Blackend theme in terms of attention to detail.

It is a responsive design so you can experience the forum in its entirety on any sized display. Very useful for people who do not like mobile apps.

Finally! the perfect dark theme has arrived. Already using it & won't be going back :D
 
Good theme. (Expecting few more. Something seems to be missing of late with TE skins)
But really.. the mkt section threads are killing the fun.

What does responsive design mean btw?
 
^ Thats funny because on the previous board's skin, people wanted the skins prior to those :P

As for skins not 'clicking', I think Renegade has told members a million times to find a skin they like (that is compatible with current standards). Everyone went mysteriously silent after that :P
 
^ Blame the popularity and addiction to TE only.
We dont flock to other tech forums.

But tbh, the recent influx of FE type threads really have started to change the psyche now.
 
Then I guess it is upto us to start TE type threads instead of just reading the other threads :bookworm: . Anyway you can ignore GT threads from what's new if you don't like reading them.

Unless ppl visit other forums, they wdnt know other option now wd they ? :)

Absolutely. Now since you are the only one visiting other forums, you must have developed a very good idea of what skin elements you want. So here's what you can do :
1. Browse through : http://xenforo.com/community/resources/categories/styles.29/ or similar sites and pick a style that matches your ideas
2. Get unanimous member approval for your choice. Important : It must "click" for everyone ;)
... and you will see it installed :)

And i hope that in the meantime the spirit of FE will be maintained by diverting deserving threads to FE side.

Are you capable of spotting these deserving threads?

P.s.: TE and FE are two separate forums with separate databases. There's no possibility of shifting a thread.
 
^^ TY Buddy. TE i know is techenclave.. lol.. i just thought i referred to something other and more specific in terms of content description lol.
 
Make this the default theme for sometime, pretty simple and straight forward. It's not perfectly dark though :p

But it does not show post count like other dark themes
 
some posts though.. especially market section show up with Black text on the dark background making it difficult to read unless selected with the mouse
 
I'm loving the new dark responsive theme. The only thing I don't like is the font posts are displayed in. Could we get something more modern like Roboto instead?

Yes the fonts did seem a bit off for a dark theme. Have changed the fonts to make the skin look even more amazing.
 
This white on black/dark is far far better than the Blue color.
Btw the buttons like Post Reply, Upload a file etc still have a blue background. Can that be tuned too ?
