Note 3 will be there but it will still stay in premium segment. 40K and around will be the price.
These phablets samsung have introduced i believe is to counter other manufacturers who are introducing random phablets.
I am sure there is a gingerbread micromax 5" phone and people will buy that because all they want is BIG SCREEN.
Hope samsung prices them reasonably.

Besides all of that the MEGA series won't have spen feature and that still remains usp for note 3.

Samsung is just making it for masses.. Not quality.. Just quantity.

Really?? Mega 6.3 would be a killer device IMO with two A15 cores and provided it comes with a proper price tag
Being in India we can never expect a proper price tag. No such thing exist for us here.

6.3 is good but just as a phone its pretty stupid. Providing their poor quality. Things can be done on it using spen.

Can you please let us know a phone with quality and whats missing in these quantity phones

Neither i am a Nokia 101 user :D
Just let us know your IMO's
If you were a Geek who really used android and was a flashoholic, you wouldnt have asked this question :) Plus a little research on what samsung is doing and how its planning ahead. Then a little more knowledge about other OEMs and their way / culture towards their Android devices.

EDIT: Am a sumsung user myself :)

Its fine man i had used all the OEM's, i do not know the culture of sony (from the days i started using android with Xperia X10 which got updated meagre after light years), then Samsung (S2, S3), HTC (From one X), Google nexus 4 and a lot more in between...

Now please let us know about the quality you meant to say in every post..does quality any way related to flashing / culture towards android phone

:hilarious:

Okay a lot to type and not that easy to do that on a "working" day..

But some of the points are..

Samsung is just repeating its devices..

Samsung is more serious towards creating its own eco system like Apple.. sooner to chuck Android and just go for Tizen which will be App friendly with the apps from Android.

The hardware used by Samsung are not Open Soruce.. this causing further issues in developments..

The updates are slow on Samsung.. more than that, its buggy, Samsung claims that it listens to their customers, but they dont really, looking out the Kernel Bugs, the famous brick bugs on SGS2 and Note that came with ICS.

Exynos was going to go open but it did not.

Samsung is now more going the gimmicky way than the actual hardware. Now such gimmicky features released on one new phone is then ported to the phones at lower level than their new ones.. not by devs but by Samsung officially.. eg: look what they did with SGS2, Note after releasing SGS3 and Note 2 and their features.

Now comes the build quality, its just plastic, nothing more. May be they release more sturdier plastic body with every new build, but its not really wen you use it in real world.

Look at Sony, HTC, (not saying Dont buy Samsung and just buy Sony / LG / HTC) etc. Samsung is just trying to get over Apple and that is the only aim for them..

Cant blame Samsung, coz they dont aim at users like us who wants development and better built quality and stuff like that, all they are doing is targeting end users and trying to be Apple. I do appreciate samsung's business strategy, but its getting boring for users like us.

While being part of the conversations of many Podcasts, the main issue with samsung is its Built Quality, how samsung is going for Quantity and not Quality, development and other things come later.

This is what samsung is doing:
1) We have this device, (like how iPhone is released), use it the way we are releasing it.. dont ask us for the updates. Also when we release updates, we are gonna release buggy crap Skin over Android and dont ask us to fix anything (and am saying this being a fan of TouchWiz UX / Nature UI).
2) Also we have nothing to invest towards designing, be it at software level or handsets.
3) If you want to play more with your device with updates, go for Nexus... (which is ok to some extent)

Also now that we know the SGS4, we know whats Note 3 is gonna be like and look like.. same is further confirmed with the "Mega" series.

Look at the new SGS4 Commercial.. they are just showing something taht What Google Now is being down for quite sometime..

Samsung's gimmicky features looked tasty when tehy started with sgs3.. but now its not.

There are many more reasons..

I have to agree with all these points abt not being open source and taking apples path.. but if you see other android oem's flagship having their own quality issues in numbers but at the eod these plastic android phones are better imo...
