If yes, I cannot understand the pathetic ad campaign. Right from the Kapil Sharma ads to the current 'That's My Ride' adverts on TV, they have done nothing but cringeworthy advertisements.

Compare it with the brilliant campaign they did during the Brio launch. And in this car segment lets take a look at the effective LUV campaign done by Maruti when they practically started this segment of compact people movers with their Ertiga. The current Mobilio campaign is bland and it does have an effect of distancing viewers.

Try how I might, to take my family along for a test drive, they have flat refused to tag along because of the current TV advert. I think its time for Honda to step up its game (atleast publicity wise, yet to take a test drive - so cant comment about the vehicle itself).

What do you guys think about these

They're actually getting good mileage from elsewhere. Maybe you and your family are not the target audience for their ads? :rolleyes:
 
There are reports that Honda has stopped production of the City until September to facilitate quick deliveries for the Mobilio-that means Honda is dead serous about it, can't comment on the ad's though.
 
Yeah,coz it garnered like 7000+ bookings which they did not expect. They want to ramp up the production and churn as many as they can . Strike the iron while it is hot or Honda in this case.
 
Half the ads on television are cringe worthy. Absolute gobar! From honda mobilio's 'My ride' to Airtel's boss and lipstick commercial.

And then you have some good commercials like the new lufthansa ad. Though I see it being a lot more real if it had been in hindi -
 
Honda has indeed stopped production of City because of Mobilio. I had been to Honda showroom 2 days back and i asked the Sales Executive there and he confirmed.
For Brio he gave me waiting of 2 months and in conversation he mentioned that City waiting timings are like 6-8 Months which he says people don't care about as they are willing to wait for the city.
 
Seriously, Does Honda needs any advertizing for those who knows what it is capable of?

I will go blindly with Honda if I can afford it. I will never see an advertisement to buy things.
