Graphic Cards Asus increases price of pc components (GPU & Mobo).

just read. Asus has increased prices of pc components, most hit gpu and mobo. check links below,

I think this would be applicable only to the US. The MRP is already absurd on Indian boxes, so it hopefully won't affect us.

Waisay bhi prices were already inflated , and then India prices already higher.
At this rate higher GPU prices will push people towards consoles

Now be ready to pay quadruple..be ready with your jugaads: rob, beg, steal..
Its already happening and been happening since ages. Look at the Price of electronics as compared to other countries, we've paying the highest for everything and not only electronics but for other things too. So this is least worrisome now. This NEWS is more for the US - China and less for us.
Just compare the Price of a 5950x in India and that is US. 759 USD and almost 72000 INR.

1,10,000 INR for india :p

petrol mehenga he :bag: :p
Its cheaper given ones family can roam places, enjoy time together, drive distances, explore places, and for the one who loves to drive its a sheer pleasure!

With gpu/mobo etc. you become introvert in your own room locked playing games or in techno dream world while no one except geeks interested in it, coupled with those never ending anxieties of next series launch and upgrade tensions and competition making you come back to square one and the loop continues unless you realize whats true is..

Get life.. there so much around which is been ignored.... later in life this will be regretted!

Loot already started on TE from few users

maximum TE users selling 4-5 yrs old or even 1or 2yrs. old hardware, just reducing price compare to what is the latest INFLATED price of that product and not on at what price they bought earlier?

Maximum sellers selling old product, after hiding actual price by removing price tag from Invoice.

That is not known as looting man. Everyone sells according to the market price and the success of the sale depends upon how much buyers are willing to pay.
How is it the seller's mistake that something has appreciated in price? Would you expect someone to ask the same price they bought it for when it comes to Gold or Real estate. Yes, it doesn't happen too often, but this time, Electronics seem to have appreciated in price instead of depreciating. I'd rather be called a looter than be a fool to sell an asset at less than market price.

Edit - Let's say I bought a new product for X amount of money and the very next day the product becomes cheaper by 20%. Now if I was to try and sell it over here and I would quote a higher price just because I bought it when it was expensive, everyone would bombard my sale thread with link to the new lower price of the same product. So if I am supposed to take the losses because of market fluctuations, then why the double standard when I am making a profit due to the same reason.
Another thing why one should always sell at the current going market price is because what if I have seller's remorse. If I got paid the current market price, I could at least try and buy the same product from the market. But I would be in for a big loss if I had tried to be a saint and sold my product at lower than market rates earlier.
