Health & Fitness Corona is in full swing and its not Joke !

They are NIOSH certified, and Venus exported quite a big number to Europe last year. Should be available.

Check ABCSales on Amazon. Guy used to deliver legit V4400, priced higher than market though.
I'm in Noida. MRP is 95, but bought 50 pieces 10 days back and it was gouged by distributor to 110 a mask.
The Venus ones are one-time use only right?

How are the Swasa ones? Said to be made by IIT Kanpur, anyone using the same?

I used Venus "N95" masks last year with Butterfly valve. Didn't really felt that it filtered anything, even traffic smoke was perceptible upon inhalation. Not that I was putting my face against an exhaust pipe of a truck to test it's efficacy.
Last week ordered a pack of 5 of "N95" from Mankind pharma. They turned out to be schiite. Along with those ordered a 20 pack box of 3M 8210. It had mixed reviews but couple of dealers there, who were offering it for a higher price, guaranteed a sealed pack box. So went with those. Got a sealed pack box, with hologram and QR code for authentication and all. When I took my mother for her 1st shot of vaccine, Doctor there was also wearing the same mask. Figured if it was good enough for him, it's good enough for us.
In case somebody wants to know: :masked: https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B08K1N9SXZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

@raksrules the Venus ones right now on Amazon seem to be total fake as per reviews and cost too. Buggers want us to purchase 4 packs, each pack having 5 masks. Would have got it if quality was assured but this is outright loot!!
I ordered these on Saturday, expecting on Thursday.

Keep a lookout for these when they arrive in stock. Easily the most comfortable N95 masks out there although people will give you looks, but that should be the least of everyone's worries.

Also the FFP2 masks are comparable to N95 so one can also look at 3M 9504 masks.

I reuse them after UVC sterilization.

No idea about others. 3M or V4400 only.

Don't buy valved masks please. Unless you can change the valve everyday.

I have these exact and yes about getting looks you are right but I don't care. In fact I am at home and wearing this exact mask as I type this message.

With which sterilising hardware? Please mention.

I am using UVC oven by Orient. You can get it from Philips etc too. Just check Amazon. Basically 2-3 medium to high wattage UVC lamps are placed at different angles in a smooth cabinet (to ensure reflectiveness), and you can place all your stuff inside for sterilization (masks, vegetables, fruits etc).

I am considering this. What is the minimum exposure time needed to destroy the virus completely ? I see that Orient sets the default as 4 minutes. Somewhere its 8 minutes. This study says 25 mins.

I am using the "UVC Safecase". Many models available online and all of them have a UV lamp with mirrored internal surfaces. The recommended time is 5 min (may vary - check the model). While there is no study that says that this box inactivates Covid-19, it should do no harm and similar devices are used by dentists. I use it for masks, wallets, mobiles which I bring in from outside. I don't use it for groceries

I'll be a bit different here. The 3M ones are perfect for doctors, but not for general use as the nose pliability isn't the best, and you need good fit.
The Venus V4400 are quite good. Have been using them for the last year, and I buy them locally now via a friend's shop (he gets them through an official distributor).
Most Amazon links to fake ones unfortunately.
I got the V4400 last time, wanted something better this time but the P100 respirators are just too expensive for daily use.
Bought it directly from a distributor in my city, hopefully, it is the real thing.
Now searching for a good UV lamp.

Any suggestions for good sanitizers? Are the mass-market ones on Amazon good enough?

I do 2 cycles i.e. 8 mins.

Most sanitizers are made by one company - Pontica Aerotech.
There are ofcourse other players in the market, but most pharma ones are made at Pontika. At the beginning of the pandemic, almost all popular brands like Dettol, Ciphands and many many others were all manufactured at Pontica.
I personally used Virowash by Dr Reddy's as they were manufacturing it directly, but it seems to be OOS now everywhere.
Go for 3M if you can - rock solid trust. Expensive though. I'm using Ciphands Professional and Microgen currently.

If you can go out, then try and get in touch with a local paint shop which also has an Explosives license. They usually have 99% pure alcohol available with them for cheaper amount. Last time I had bought it for around 100/L. I just dilute it to 70% strength and use as a sanitizer.

The thing is is there a way to know a list of authorised distributors for 3M or Venus products state wise? How are guys procuring original masks I'm not sure. Where I live most if not all are bloody frauds. They will most definitely sell me counterfeit.

The 3M respirator mentioned above is back in stock on Amazon but of 50 packs, which I don't need atm and more importantly from a seller with poor rating.

I don't know much about Arogya Setu but I have installed it just few days before I was detected positive. Post my result, the status was updated in my Arogya setu app that "As per ICMR records, the number +91XXXXXXXX is COVID Positive". But since last 1 day, it is now showing "You are Safe" and Green color.
