The "Everyday" show-off thread !

Finally. After months of delay, my build is up. A from-the-scratch build after many many years so it's almost like my first. Many things were a first in this; never applied TIM before lol. And it was a successful first boot! Mostly...
A quick pic before I connected and fired it up. Will do the cables later, just wanted to see if it all works first.

Everything DIY. Filled it up finally.
Next : Tank cycling with 1/2 Indian carp (Rohu fish)
Water is very dirty in the pic. Gravel dirt even after rinsing 40 kgs gravel with 2000 liters water.
Last pic is after 3/4 water changes. Now we're talking.

Dh15 cooler looking amazing in white, cabinet model ?

could have placed your sump underneath ur desk or try to cover it, to have better focus on your main tank!
Agreed. Had no space below. Overhead sump will eventually be covered. Yellow pipe will be replaced. Other mods in mind too. This sump can hold a lot of filter media.... in quantity that 30/40k canister filter holds. So I traded off aesthetics for performance and savings.
