Forum Feedback Behavior of TE Members (Gyan Ahead, You have been warned!)

Not for that reason. He kept on begging, I politely told him ‘sorry, price is fixed‘. But then next day again he messaged with a 1200 offer. Again I said sorry, price is fixed as I told you. Then he gave a snarky reply “keep it broo”, along with laughing emotes. For this behaviour I called him out on my thread and told him to learn to respect other people's time, their price listings and to stop begging. Then he replied on my thread I have mental issues I left it at that and didn’t reply to him. Whoever read the thread knows what kind of person he is.

This is about another user writing unethical stuff on my thread and impolite behaviour in my chat, begging etc. Read above.

Anyway, thanks everyone!
You can't casually take a jab at someone directly or indirectly and expect them not to do the same whatever the reason. You're still stuck on trying to humiliate him using words like begging instead of moving on. This will only affect your mental peace and is not the way forward.

Something I want to share but nothing to do with "gyan", it seems to me that people who spent a shit ton of money on GPU's and gaming laptops during the heights of Covid, lockdown and crypto aren't that willing to lower the prices because they would lose out a lot, which is fair. But what they don't seem to understand is tech get "outdated" fast and they move fast. There's a new refreshed model every few months or a new one every year. You might have paid xx for it but that doesn't mean it's worth xx now. I spent 48k on my old Compaq PC doesn't mean I can get 48k, an exaggeration of an example but you get the idea. I just wish they'd understand this. Sometimes it leads to unnecessary arguments from the sellers like "bro but it has this and this etc etc" while some are just plain rude it's not helpful. I'm not trying to "lowball" I'm just trying to be realistic with the value. Its your choice whether you want to sell it to me or not. But selling it could also save you a lot of time. Just saying you would look like a fool if you waited for so long to sell at your asking price only to get the same offer or even lower after having waited for so long. That's all.

In a recent hdd sale thread, one common over smart seller showed his colors again.
He is least bothered about forum rules and always interested in flashing his so-called trade ratings and asking buyers/commenters to refer to the same.
Yet making excuses for not providing crystal disk info. etc. stating he will only share it on a case to case basis to the interested buyers only as if he owns the forums and makes/breaks the rule.

Can someone please tell me how I get this to a mod? I've tagged them, reported posts and dm'd one on them as well.

Even I am waiting for their reply since almost one month....don't know what's going on !

That is interesting.. the only reason I buy/sell here is because of the feedback system and the mods. Both have failed me this time I guess.

I have had very pleasant experiences over the years in SELLING on TE
1. Engage with an Actual Human Conversation with the Buyer [through sharing of contact nos] - so that we both understand the reasons & requirements - the PERSON you Deal with is MORE IMPORTANT than the Product on offer & respect this truth.
2. Acknowledge that Not every SALE may go through - No matter how many BUMPS

I bought something here that was bumped for 11 months, I remember seeing something sold here after over a year of bumps.

There's stuff being bumped right now that I'd love to buy, but can't until August because of poor financial planning.

Hope springs eternal for both sellers and buyers in some cases, I guess.

Recently i also had some of these experiences .

1) got a pm from a member regarding my wtb 450/370 thread. he was selling a b450 for 4700 with no warranty, so i assumed a 3-4 yr usage .
i told him the price seems a bit high and got a reply stating the prices of the mobo are high currently and that he could do 4500
searched some sites found out the exact new model costs 6400-6800.
when i pointed this out, the guy started telling me something on the lines that 5600 should be used in a b450....
just left the conversation.

Why would anyone pay 4500(70./.) for a mobo i can get new with 3yr warr at 6500?

2) got a message regarding an item from a very old forum member.
first message

"Final Price including shipping to xxxxxx with UPI/Bank Details"

i gave him one, no reply for a whole day, messaged him again asking if he was still interested.
replies asking for free shipping, i point out that price is already low but i can probably courier thru india.post for cheaper option, if he wants.

i get the reply -"OK"
now i m confused asf, does he agrees ?
i reply after around 10-12hr, should we proceed?

he replies "yes and gives his shipping address"
i send him my bank details and remind him to pay 100 extra for shipping , whatever remains after shipping will be refunded.

got no reply in pm.
after sometime, the guys posts on thread that he will pay after reciept
again is he talking about shipping receipt or getting delivered?

whatever maybe the case, should we be discussing these things on pm.
decide to wait a bit more.
at this point i m pretty much frustated by his lack of response, waited around 12 hrs for either payment or his message regarding it.

After 12 hrs,posted a" bump,still available" on my thread.
looks like the guy is surprised that the deal isnt closed with him.
still i receive no pm just a post on thread.

most unresponsive and by extension rude person i have encountered in a while.

RANT ENDS.

Lol, banned for creating a thread? That's a bit too much.

I have had so many interactions with Napsterquest and I don't think there can be a valid reason for him to be banned all of a sudden. I hope he is unbanned soon.
