    Suggesstions/Opinions: Samsung i5700 or i7500

@sbhas2k Processor speed makes quite a big difference. Everything runs faster. But, memory also makes a difference. More applications. 8gb VS 180mb: 180mb is only for the applications. You can put a card for things like music and movies etc. If you'd rather not buy a card then take the 7500...

    Smartphone around 20k,please assist.

@Yogi7272 I believe you are confusing a dedicated graphics processor with a dedicated image processor. The GPU in these phones that you mentioned will definitely help in image and video capture and on screen display, but not to the extent of an image processor. The difference can be understood...

    Smartphone around 20k,please assist.

Phone cameras, to me, will be a vestigial feature in phones until they have a dedicated image processor. Flash or no flash, 3.2mp or 8mp, images from phone cameras will always suck until the phone has a dedicated image processor.

@sbhas2k There are 2 things to consider 1. The spica has a 800mhz processor. i7500 has a 500 something mhz processor 2. The spica will get the 2.1 upgrade. i7500 has no plans to get the upgrade I have used the Spica's camera on occasion and it is a decently good mobile camera. While there...

Are touchscreen mobile fones sturdy enough for long BIKE rides (not drives) ?

There is absolutely no connection between a touch screen phone and being a rider. Being one myself I can vouch for touch screen phones, as I have been using them for the last 4 to 5 years. My only advice, use a screen scratch guard and a phone case at all times. The sceen may not get damaged...

samsung i5700 or i7500 or htc tattoo ....guys?

Like 4m says, the Spica will ge the 2.1 upgrade and the i7500 wont. Bluetooth file transfer will work then and all will be well with the world due to the 800mhz processor. @prole let me ask you something. How many files do you transfer with BT anyway. Since BT is now almost dead as a technology...

Cameras in phones... one of the things that I really think are a waste, unless they are used with cool apps like ShopSavvy or Layar. Anyway... I would buy the 15700. Oh wait, I already did. 800mhz processor makes more sense to me that a camera. Please understand it not the megapixel that makes...

Yeah... I really like the look and the Ui of the HERO. If it had been around 18k, I would have bought that one.

Really depends on your usage. With if you are gonna be a heavy GPS and internet user then I think you will have to charge it every night. If you are gonna be mostly a phone user and occasional FB/Social media user, then you can expect 2 to 2.5 days on a single charge. The Spica's battery is a...

Hmm... a hanging Spica is something I have yet to see. The apps that are generally active on my phone are FB (both the app and the browser), Seesmic (for twitter), Handcent SMS and gtalk and google maps (no gps). I have yet to experience a lag in operations much less a hang. The Spica has 128...

@kippu Spica does not currently have 2.1 It is expected to get it in April. @manu RAM doesn't determine speed. Processor determines speed. The Spica's 800mhz processor is only second to the Nexus one's Snapdragon @ 1ghz

@ed.hardy While you may have used Eclair, the general opinion is that it will improve the on screen keyboard of Spica. The OSK is the only irritation I have with an otherwise awesome phone for the price you pay. I have posted a short review on my blog. It seems confirmed that the Spica will...

Unfortunately the text input is not at par with an iphone. Apple's implementation of the on screen keyboard is still the best so far. I dont know about the Nexux One but my Spica keyboard could have been better. However, the Spica is the only Android phone which plays DivX natively and very...
