I am looking for a GC for an HTPC (w/ HD audio passthrough from HDMI port) + a VGA support for touch screen (either from the M/B (Is this possible while HDMI port is enabled) or from the GC itself). I would prefer 1GB DDR5 RAM for the GC.
Which one do you all suggest? Thanks in advance.

It already has two 80mm fans (air out) and and a 40mm fan (air in). I wanted to replace them w/ the silent ones. I forgot to check the cfm, will try to find it today.
I am looking for a silent 80mm fan. I saw one from CoolerMaster which costs 250/-, but not sure about the noise it produces. I am looking for a fan which is very silent like the laptop fans, but in 80mm w/ good air flow. This is for my projector, the default fans are very noisy. How much a good...
My bad, sorry for the confusion. What i meant was that the raw LPCM itself will undergo a decoding and encoding while playing from a PC (in previous versions of PowerDVD). Eventhough the o/p is LPCM, its not the original LPCM from the disk. The s/w will decode the 24bit 48KHz LPCM and downsample...
Sorry, TechHead, I cannot agree, coz' both are different. Google to find the difference. There are lot of articles about LPCM and bitstreaming. How much a human ear can distinguish b/n them is debatable. Bitsteaming requires HDCP(PAP and PVP) compliance in all the devices used in the chain and...
An HDMI port can carry both audio and video in digital format. If you are connecting the HDMI to the display, then the display should be capable of decoding it (Normally LCD TVs can do 2channel decoding and some high end TVs can do PCM to 5.1 DD). Normally a monitor will decode only video...
It supports only 8channel LPCM @16bit 48KHz over HDMI not TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio (@24bit 48KHz) formats. LPCM is a slightly downgraded version of the DTS_HD\TrueHD, but this will be far superior than DTS\DD. You can use this MB till you procure a true bitstreaming SC\GC. Only Xonar HDAV...
