Yes, 60 mm is correct. I asked for a `CPU fan' and was told I had to buy the heatsink as well. Would really appreciate you telling me which shop I can get it from.

Well the case is a Grabit iBox, and yeah, it doesn't dampen the sound much, but it's even louder with the case open. It's just the fan's bearings bearings that are failing and I need a new fan!

Oh Great. Thanks for replying, anyway. There's nothing wrong with my current heatsink and I don't overclock so the stock cooling is good enough for me. I just need a little bit less noise! Looks like the only solution available to me is to stuff cotton up my ears! :(
