Absolutely not, there is no need to declare anything at all! Unnecessary declaration will put you in scrutiny, may it be personal. Just walk off the green channel, and make sure they are unpacked from original boxing and put in check-in baggage. No one will bother you for that small volume.

DTDC Air is pretty descent service, go for it. Courier guy will ask you whats inside the packet, just tell its Hard disk sent to be repaired, I don't think you need to declare anything.

Apparently your DVD drive is dead/non-functional. Boot time is getting delayed because BIOS keeps reading DVD, but fails to do so. Unplug both your DVD drives + reset BIOS again, and report back.

Thanks...Desecrato. :) Agreed that read/write performance of all drives are more or less the same, but tray getting stuck has always been an issue. From my past experience Samsung & LG were the first ones to show those symptoms :P

Hi guys, Please suggest which DVD writer (SATA of course) is currently best in terms of performance & reliability, mention the price too. My 4 year old Sony IDE still works fine, but every single time I struggle to insert & eject disk with paper pin :@ Thanks
