Yup i was also concerned about paying for such apps till i found free alternatives to do all those thing even better..!! so i use below ones: for titanium use AntTek App Manager does better than titanium(even has freeze option for free) for root explorer use ES file explorer and in settings...

did u try what I told u'll surely get root, coz even earlier for me same happened, I.e superuser app was there on phone and root checker app says busybox installed but no root. I think u r having same scenario as mine, do the 3 steps what I told u will have root.

S after completing all other steps at the end u open new terminal and do.

@paarkhi Yup that's true, even I didn't get root when I followed all methods, but had linux knowledge using that I used terminal emulator on phone and run ls -l in /system/bin directory and noticed that ownership of su file was shell, it must be root if su has to be run on phone, hence used...

To all those who are unable to get root following method on ******, do this: 1. Follow all steps on ******, FR's or Asky 2. Open terminal 3. sudo -s cd /media/system/bin chown root su 4. Now you will have root.

About the issue of class 10 or 6 or other classes of that memory card its better to go with class 10. But i didn't knew much about these classes when i bought 8GB Class 2 from Transcend.
