most of not all cheap laptops (and even premium ones) come with 4600WHr 6-cell battery and most can manage 5hr low load/idle and 3hr under movie or if one turns of all unnecessary service as well as WiFi. etc then 4hr+.

-ve points: Galaxy Y: slow processor, less ram, small display, low resolution, poor camera (explorer's cam is not great). Explorer: locked bootloader, less internal memory, less service center compared to samsung, less DEV support (compared to Y).

you have the Asus 13" lappy so you can give a good explanation if 13" is easy to use or not. actually its an odd size as its bigger than 11" and slightly smaller than 14" so if keyboard is not a tried and tested one, it'll feel cramped at the least.
