I am getting it for around 62000 for a 64 GB. Should I go for it? Or wait two months for iphone 12, so that iphone 11 has some price cut.

iPhone 11 price dropped to 54900 on the apple store online so if we get free Airpods + bank offers on it then it might be good deal for those looking to buy 11!

Lmfao. The mini is 69990. In any case, corporate greed's new height was materialised today. Now phones will come without charger. OK. The only good thing is the iP11 will be a bit less now, so probably time to consider that 'still overpriced' piece of crap.

That's mini compare it to iphone 12 price and not mini. It's just 15k more then last year iphone 1164gb price.

so if I get this correctly, base "main" iphone 12 is $129 more than last year base iphone 11. and that doesnt include the added cost saved due to removing earbuds and charger and cable. damn

I have my doubts about Indiatoday but it does seem like it will retail for 54,900 WITH free Airpods and there will also be HDFC 6% cashback. A better deal than Amazon 50k (plus bank cashback) I feel especially if one has use for the Airpods.

Yes, the 11 lineup only comprises of the standard phone and the others have been replaced by the 12 equivalent. This is what was also displayed during the Apple event. You can only get it from third party retailers till stock runs out.
The OLED screen, 5G antenna and significant R&D have to be incorporated over the regular price. So, it is not a surprise.
Yeah, the change is retrospective and affects the entire lineup. Have to see if Apple had planned it in advance and if the units available during the sale will be without the power adapter and Earpods. Problem though is the USB-C to lightning cable. How many people will already have a USB-C charger?
The current HDFC cashback offer ends on Oct 16, so will have to wait and see if there will be other offers on the 17th.

iPhones are generally such a bad deal these days. Plus they keep pushing it by constantly removing stuff. They are still decent phones and you should buy if extra few thousands are no big deal. But wow, what a bad deal the iphones have become since the iphone X.
12 line up is way too overpriced for essentially a fairly average phone. Can't use their r & d to reduce that massive notch fourth year in a row. No high refresh display and terrible quality control to top it off. My brother's 6s plus had rear camera stop working within 2 years. His original replacement battery died within 18 Months. Wife's XR developed random yellow lines over her screen after 16 months of purchase. The Indian apple service center experience is so bad to complement the poor QC. Both of these phones cost 60-70k. But if you value privacy and os security patch updates, Android isnt even an option. Can't stand Google snooping with their constant surveillance.
These days top dollar buys really average phones. No wonder people are holding on to phones much longer nowadays. The only thing I love about apple is how it has made adid based tracking much harder with ios14. The phones themselves are quite underwhelming.

They are offering me 11k for my iPhone 7 on the portal at least but I think it might be a scam like Cashify where they offer you X on webste and send a 3rd party party who haggles and says only 50% of X can be paid!!

5G speed is hoax. Indians will need another 50 years to catch up that speed. its hard to get even 3G speed in 90% location in India across providers.
