Apple sells an ecosystem and these belong right in there. Anyone complaining about the price needs to realize that these products simply are not targeted towards them and should simply move on to buying whatever they think is right.

This can happen in every hobby be it cars, computers or bikes. Sports bike can cost 20 lakh yet no one complain why are those so expensive but when it comes to audio everyone starts laughing like a mad men. Those companies exist because the buyer for their item exists. Most of them are from Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan anyways. Also for something as subjective as audio price is certainly not a factor because you can't measure it with benchmarks.

I was going to give same analogy. BMW or Audi are expensive than Maruti but no one complains. I am not comparing apple to these big car manufacturers but just giving an example.

That is not a proper analogy I'd say. If BMW launched a car and priced it super expensive for what it is and there exists a better performing car (same segment) for lesser price from say for example merc, reaction would be the same.

Even if this remotely was targeted to me, let me tell you, I am not justifying apple and this price is seriously super duper expensive (for me). I cannot ever justify buying this unless I join the ranks of Ambani some day. But at the end of day, people with enough disposable income will buy, many times for only show off, sometimes because thy definitely see value in it.

I seriously think this price war is over done.
Audio equipments are a lot pricey and everyone knows.
Apple has placed it above consumer level pricing and below audiophile grade pricing.
It's a new market they must be exploring!!
Apple always does a good design and this braless cans actually will be popular for its style statement.

Let's see how these consumer oriented cans do perform.
Every company will start blaming apple and then follow them, just the Chinese companies will try to copy them and make "similar" item for way cheaper.
For middle class people like us these Chinese companies are saviours (till we actually become Atmanirbhar)

Haters will hate every other company be it Apple, OnePlus, Samsung. I remember people cribbing for OnePlus pricing then Samsung when they launched Note series and then with Fold 2.

Disclaimer: I hate apple products not for their pricing coz I cannot stand IOS. For me nothing beats Android but then I don’t cry for their pricing.

I am a person who considers only the money I have personally earned through my job to be mine. I have never considered what my father's money is, mine even when I know eventually it will come to me (and my brother). I do buy Apple Products with my own money. I was exactly in similar position until 9 years back and considered Apple waste of money and worthless. But when I did buy one (for wife) and experienced it myself, I was converted. I am not rich, just a middle class IT coolie. I also concur what you are saying, there are definitely better options at lesser price but since I am used to using my iPhone and at this point I don't want to divert from that and I don't chase latest device. My iPhone 6S is today 5+ years old and I don't see much point in changing it.

But dude, by that analogy, no one would ever buy an expensive car or an expensive watch (which can cost more than even a house).
Your comments against Apple come across as hate instead of logical. And that doesn't bode well for a tech forum. Even I can't use Apple products due to their shortcomings but that doesn't mean that every one else should stop buying Apple products. For many people, it is very difficult to get out of an ecosystem, especially when tech products have become so ubiquitous in our daily lives. I myself, can't fathom moving from Windows 7, but that doesn't mean that I have to hate on others.

Most of the time for people to love something they justify it by hating others, like if i like Samsung then I must hate OnePlus. If I like PS5 then I must hate XBOX etc. If I love Android then I must hate iOS, same goes for MacOS versus Windows. I consider such people as losers because for them to love something they must hate other thing. Also some people take moral superiority over others like some superior Aryan race.

See, again you only see it through your lens.
And at least read properly what someone else has written. I said people buy watches which cost more than a house.
My analogy is not flawed at all and same has been repeated by other people as well, both, over here and in other threads. Products doing the same basic jobs can be available across a range of budgets. Everyone buys based on what they can afford and what entices them towards the product. It isn't necessary that what attracts someone else towards a product, would necessarily attract you as well. And these factors also include social pressures as well. So as long as Apple is not putting a gun to everyone's head to purchase their products, they are perfectly in their right to price their products as they want to.
It's perfectly alright for you to find their products overpriced but you have the choice to not buy them, but there is no need to hate them for it and so much so that you feel the need to bash them at every possible opportunity. For example, it made no sense to bash them for their pricing in this thread because companies infinitely smaller than them have audio products costing 10 times. Everyone knows that audio gear is exponentially more expensive for infinitely small gains and that is very normal.

That is certainly very true and we all personally know that such type of people do exist. But that does not mean that you have to start hating Apple itself.

This is like saying.. since I have seen many BMW drivers driving rash so I started hating BMW itself rather then those stupid drivers.

Let's rename this thread to Capitalism 101 and be done with it.

As long as there is a demand, why blame Apple or any company in fulfilling the gap ? It's pretty clear that the price is not a deterrent to many, and as long as people are willing to part with their money, who are we to judge ?
