To get the phone in working condition quickly...
Go to pgportal.gov.in
Make an account
Lodge a complaint by selecting ministry of consumer affairs snd see the magic.
Don't forget to mention your issues with the phone and the treatment being meted by service center.
Do mention Service center address.
Your work order number along with phone no that you shared with lg.

This with set the ball rolling like a rocket believe me.

MY G8x is also in service since a month. Mainboard was replaced twice. Now the phone shuts off randomly. The phone was a Vietnam unit from the october 2020 festive sale. Phone worked fine till March, then issues started. If possible try to source an Indian made unit or the G8s if you can forget the dual screen. Apart from this I have used G6, G7, v20, v30+ twice, and briefly the wing. G8x is my first LG phone to have an issue. Apparently my cousins G8x ( oct sale) also had issues- purple tint on screen, quad dac not getting activated and so on.

Yeah, the issue is with the Vietnam batch, I am in contact with a bunch of people with the same issue. Mine has been replaced under DOA, then the replacement has had its screen changed, which ruined the phone even further, now they are asking me to give the device to them for "research". They have had my phone for close to 2 months now.
