Married peeps, where have you set up your battlestation?

I live in a villa with 4 bedrooms. Two of them have been converted to offices. We'll be moving to our own home in a few months - a rather big one. That one has 3 lounges + HT in addition to a formal living room and a dining room. One of those is my office/gaming space. Wife has taken over one of the 4 bedrooms for her office space.

Do whatever you want to, things change when you get married. The trade-offs change, and it is difficult to justify a gaming hobby. Techno stuff is easier to manage, even Raspberry Pi projects, or building things, but everything is complicated. I am now waiting for my kid to grow up so that gaming can be cool again :)

I lost the TV and the AC.
They are working on it.
LG says repair in 15 days or replacement. Panasonic says there was problem in outdoor unit PCB. He fixed it AC still not working and now there is a problem with the indoor PCB. He's sheepish and I know he spoiled it. Wants me to pay for it. Can we do something about it?
Man what kind of money do you make to have a basement in India lol. Hope things get back to normal soon.

Damn your kid is going to one lucky fellow!

Thanks for the wishes.
In India cost of making a basement is around Rs 2000/sqft give or take depending upon the city. So if your land cost is more it makes absolute senses to make one. Not to forget that basement areas are not counted in the full house plan so if it's a 3000sqft constructed house it will remain a 3000sqft house even if you have 10 floors of basement with 3000sqft each. It's cheaper to go down than to go up.
Edit:
The first basement may cost Rs.2000/- but the second basement may cost a little more and so on and so on and so forth.

Man I hope I remember your sage advice when I build my own house.

Warranty or not, the trend has been as mentioned previously. Hence, one of the reasons for higher cost for Inverter pcb. Maybe start a new thread and hope peeps here can help.
Thread 'The Panasonic AC fiasco' https://techenclave.com/threads/the-panasonic-ac-fiasco.200615/
Thanks for the encouragement.

View attachment 112645 Don't even remember getting few in them....some are real vintage stuff ( got very cheap used)
Seeing this thread earlier this morning, got motivated to clean up the mess.
We live in a small house and the basement is really cramped and hopefully this is the third and last headphone clean up operation ( yep, the Focal is going too)
If anyone needs headphones and lives nearby, please drop a DM ( sorry, shipping to India is very difficult from where I live, tried recently)
The basement is in such a bad shape that I'm ashamed of posting pictures.
Edit: The miniDSP doesn't work, it's fake and bought for 5 EUR just to impress others ( and a bad headphone stand)
They got to your collection before you did

Of course the headphones belong to me but it was Xiaoran who took this photograph. Can ask him @ headfi.

This is the original article.
BTW my collection was much larger than those few, those were just the leftover cans not being used anymore after 2 rounds of house cleaning. And I have posted similar photos many times @ head fi.
The intention is not showing off but rather the sheer stupidity.

Wife and I have our wfh workstations + gaming setup in our 2nd room. It has kind of become a pseudo-lounge for us now.

Wifey is honestly a god-send! She is tolerant, and even supportive of my gaming habits (and my other rather pricey hobbies).

Not for this alone, but I love this woman to the moon and back!!

My wife is exactly like this too... Fully supportive to the point where I have setup my pc, gaming station and projector in the main room... Love her to bits
