Budget Above 40k Is it good to buy the iPhone 11 now?

Digressing from the main topic, Is it good to buy the iPhone 11 now or wait till 13 launches so that it becomes cheaper?
the latter - if the iPhone 13 brings benefits which you like (and can afford to go for), then go ahead with that. If not, then the iPhone 11 will be at least slightly cheaper. Having said that, 128GB iPhone 11 is 53k rn after HDFC card cashback on Maple, which seems to be a very decent price.

Much better to buy an android phone instead of wasting money on a restricted and severely limited ecosystem. You can go for rog phone or if you can get from outside wait for pixel 6 or get asus zenfone

If you want to buy iphone for showoff instead of functionality you can go for Samsung phone too

Apple provides updates for 7 yrs for any iPhone. Android dosent. Not into gaming at all.. Dont like Samsung as its UI is cartoonish... Yup Pixel 6 fits my requirement but dont think it will be launched in India.

I cannot afford the iPhone 13 .. Hence waiting for 13 to launch so that 11 becomes cheaper and I can buy it in Big Billion Days !!! :p

And why do you care for that....use the android phone for 3 years, gift it to a poor child...buy a new phone after 3 years and again use and gift...
still you will save money vs buying an iphone
If you buy a 15k phone...you can do the above process 3 times for 2 years each...every time taking advantage of the huge processing leap every 2 years...still you will save money...in fact if you invest the remaining 30k right now...you can probably finance 50-100% of your 4th phone for free as well...All the time saving money compared to the iphone

It has changed a lot since the old times, so if you haven't used it in past 2 years, you are in for a pleasant surprise. What do you even mean by UI? You can just install a new launcher and half of the things change in UI. Then get a notification app and customize it to whatever icon style you want. Most of the android versions have inbuilt theme builders too in case you don't know how to do the above

I have seen the latest Samsungs too...My mother has Samsung F41... Those big icons and it hangs a lot...Never liked them... If only Google had launched Pixel 5a in India.... The iphone is really super optimized...and the cameras are really top notch..

Does the f41 cost 50k or 60k+ or 80k+ like the iphone? If you want to compare performance to a 50-80-120k iphone you can at a minimum go to 20k+ range for sd 865-870 and that works flawlessly without any 'hangs'

As I said earlier this is not an android vs ios thread. so if you want to discuss that please open a new thread.
If you are genuinely open to options you wouldn't be bringing a Samsung 20k phone into a comparison with 3x-8x priced iphone

You are contradicting urself.. The iPhone doesn't cost millions... It was 44k on Flipkart some months ago on some festive deal.. You are the one comparing Android vs iOS, not me... I just asked if buying the iPhone 11 now would be better or do I wait till 13 is launched...Peace Bro !!!! Chill !!

The prices will definitely drop on iPhone 11. Expecting 128 GB to be under 50k during the sales after the launch of 13.
Also, expect the prices of 12 to drop. I am also holding on to XR 128 till that time. Let's see.

I don't understand when someone wants to for an iOS device, then why start useless fanboyism?

Sticking to the question - Wait for iphone 13 launch on September 11th , check prices of 11 once 13 is released. If not intriguing wait for diwali or big billion days October month it is.

I too am tired of my Oneplus 6T. Planning to make a move from Android to iOS. My last iPhone was the iPhone 4 which I just loved using. After that, I have been on pretty iconic devices like the Nexus 5, Oneplus One, 3, and 6T. Somehow now I just feel now it's time to move back to iOS. The devices themselves don't offer much difference now in terms of performance but it's the ecosystem that offers a better experience. Like the integration of iPhone and Macbook. You can keep your phone aside and take calls on your Macbook while working and don't get distracted with Facebook or Instagram or Whatsapp. The continuity feature works like a charm, Unlocking your Macbook with an Apple watch. I mean it just works like "magic" as Apple calls it.

Andriod devices are great but a phone is just a piece of the puzzle in today's day and age. There is nothing that integrates like the iPhone, AirPods, Watch combo which apple offers. Yes, Samsung has a solution now but again the integration lacks a lot of things.

Sticking to the original question of buying the iPhone 11 now or to wait, is No Brainer. You should wait for the iPhone 13 launch if you would like cheaper pricing. I too am waiting for the iPhone 13 launch cause my target is the iPhone 12 or the mini. If you need a device "now" cause old one is broken then you should definitely go in for the device now. I feel 11 should serve one well for the next 2 years if not 3.

this mskadi is an apple hater. he always hate posts on ios threads. better ignore him. to answer your question - if you cant afford the iphone 13, iphone 11 is best choice. i can order with student discount of 5% from Apple website for you. but check iplanet, aptronix online stores for best deals.

I am pretty sure iPhones have never been eligible for student discount. It has always been ipads and macbooks.

Totally agree with your point, once you are a part of ecosystem it’s very easy to take it for granted like it’s not a big deal.

I was a big fan of Oneplus and bought their first phone with great enthusiasm even though it had lot of hardware issues but the fans supported it. Their behaviour as a new company suddenly changed when they released their new phone Oneplus 2, old fans got ignored. Anyways it was a beta product at best and I quickly jumped the ship after trying some god forbid Chinese phones. Better leave those for kids who do roms and stuff.

By the way, I like 12 mini too especially for size but it’s battery life that is left to be desired. It also has range issues that is not present in normal 12 series.
