For sale here are 100x100mm 3ks 17.8W/m.k thermal pads with various thickness. These were imported from China for a project last week and these are left extra hence selling them.

How can I prove these are true 17.8w/m.k pads?
The manufacturer claims these are 17.8W/m.k and I am also current modding a RTX 3090 FE with these pads for a friend and will share the test results within 6-8 hours.

I have total 5 pcs each of 1mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm and 3.0mm.
Price per pack of 100x100mm

1.0mm - 2100
1.5mm - 2500
2.0mm - 2750
3.0mm -4000

I tried ethereum mining with RTX 3090 FE and here are the results.

Original thermal pads:
Core : 1150 Locked
Memory : 0
Fans : 100%
hashrate : 107mh
Memory temperature : 104-106C without any overclock. Even the slight overclock of +500 would result in 108-110C memory temperature and throttling eventually.
I forgot to take screenshot due to rookie excitement but any 3090 FE owner can confirm same behavior.

After changing thermal pads to these:
Core : 1150 Locked
Memory : +1500
Fans : 100%
hashrate : 125mh+ stable
Memory temperature : Mostly 82C and absolute peak was 84C which is far better than what I expected frankly. Nvidia seems to be using really shit pads. I think I can lower fans with new pads since throtlling starts at 110C as well. However the card lost its warranty most probably now.

these were imported in bulk so cannot say for sure exactly but it will roughly cost 2000/kg and 78% customs duty + taxes.

But rtx 3090 FE doesn't have any warranty sticker on screws right. Which can confirm warranty void

Did you have to change pads on both sides with roasting or just the backplate? Also which thickness for fe card

when they open the card they will find different pads. At that point either they will or won't owner the warranty. If you can somehow save the original pads and put them in before depositing for RMA than they have to owner warranty I guess but its very difficult to save the original pads.

Are those even pads or they are putty based?

The results are similar to Gelid extreme pads which I have on my 3080 fe. Don't have 3090 to test :p. But temps are max 84 degrees with 24 ambient and 70% fan speed.

then the ones I am selling will perform better on a 3080 since 3090 has memory on backplate as well and they gave same result.
