Guys is the SBI offer instantly applied when you checkout or is it a cashback offer?
Asking since my cart value is more than 5200 during checkout but I cant see the SBI discount when I select my SBI card as the mode of payment...

KIOXIA 480GB Exceria SATA SSD comes for around Rs.2778/-
Actual price Rs.4749/- with 35% Discount + additional 10% card discount. This comes to around Rs.2778/-
The seller is Appario.

Its not really about a specific model but what else are available or what you can get at the same price range. Personally, it seems like it would be very good for media storage but how many nvme slots do you have is the question. If its for primary use get those Samsung nvme or similar and if you need more try to get those sata ssd's. I did the same in my case. I got an nvme for primary os and software use and got another sata 1tb for games. For media I plan to buy a 2-4TB hard disk or 2TB ssd if I come across any deal.

When it comes to SSDs, I would rather stick to these brands:

1. Samsung (absolute best for M.2 format when it comes to speed, features, reliability)
2. Western Digital (second only to Samsung).
3. Sabrent (Rocket series is amazing and among the fastest).
4. Crucial (Great 2.5" models like MX500).
5. Corsair (MP series is great)
6. SK Hynix (one of the top tier memory makers, Gold series is very good).

Thanks for sharing.. I bought this instead of that 500gb toshiba one
I searched for reviews online but couldnt find any. Then I looked up reviews about similar controller as on this one and found one teamgrpup ssd with same one which had decent reviews.
IMO if you plan to use the ssd purely for basic tasks like gaming/storage etc then it doesn’t matter if its a msi or any other tier 1 brand since performance difference is completely unnoticeable in daily use.
