English TV series discussion

Started watching Halo
Pretty nice up until now

Also following Slow Horses ( typical British thriller) just the way I like it..

Hardy Boys (Hulu) : 2/10. What a pile of sh!t ! How dare they turn one of my most favourite characters from my childhood into this ? Sad. The age difference - Frank is an adult while Joe is a kid. Laughable especially when you see them on identical bikes. Except Joe and the thief, all the other actors are wooden puppets. The script is pathetic .. why did they have to turn it into a fantasy instead of having them investigate worldly matters with scripts from the books. A wasted opportunity. Skip this crap and read the books instead.

Joe Pickett : 8/10. This along with Reacher are some of the best book adaptations I have seen in some time. Fabulous acting, beautiful cinematography and a strong script. This is how you make them. Happy to learn that its renewed for second season.

If anyone is interested in Lego, there is Lego Masters USA and Lego Masters Australia. I enjoy this show and really in awe how great sets the people make.

Is "This is US" any good?

Just finished Hannibal. 10/10.
What a masterpiece! Easily a new addition to my top 10 of all time list.

Warning: There's a lot of gore. Only recommended if you have a strong stomach for blood and violence.

Recently saw Sense8. Available on Netflix... it was a 5/10 for me... plot for main story was interesting but it felt like it was never fully developed. Honestly, it was like the main story was an afterthought rather than the main focus. Most of the series is very slow... I mean literally every other scene is shot in slow motion. Characters were not interesting & never really cared for most of them. Don't know why it is such highly rated.

Hmm.. I thought that the conflict between the two personalities and the back story was laid out well. The plot hole was that the third personality was missing.
Instead of Hospital if it was some tomb or something that matches the theme of Egypt Gods then I wouldn't mind, regarding third personality I think they just wanted to use it as a teaser.
What are you even saying? 6 episodes is too long? Lmao
Lol No, I meant the episode where Mike is in Hospital and the full episode is in modern world, where as I was expecting to be in some Egyptian settings

The reality was set in Egypt tombs and all, whereas this all played out in his mind in the form of a conflict between his memories. The setting of the asylum was actually based on the comics. Then again it was all based on Egyptian mythology only.
However I cannot believe that his third personality did not manifest itself to save him from getting killed when it did so in every other instance including the finale in the form of blackouts. I get it they saved Jake for season 2 but that is all inexplicable.

Thats right, He blacked out once before and had no idea who did it.

Started watching 'Love, Death & Robots' - since last night. And this is awesome.
Bite sized independent episodes - ranging from 5 to 18 mins, interesting plot in almost all the episodes I have watched till now.

I wasn't aware of this. Saw the trailer of Season3 in Youtube and hence started watching.
