Budget 51-70k Looking for a multipurpose laptop

  • What's your Budget? (e.g. >30K, not more than 50K etc.) 60k. Can be extended to 65kish if 3050 gpu can make it 2-3 years more future proof than the 1650
  • What will be your primary usage for the notebook be? (e.g. web surfing/office apps/Casual Gaming) Studies, work and little video editing
  • What size and weight considerations do you have? (e.g. Do you want a 17" desktop replacement or you want an ultraportable 12" or something in between) Any size will do but with a numlock keypad
  • Any brand that you prefer, or any brand that you detest? (e.g some would prefer to stay away from Acer or Dell) Check below
  • Any other considerations? (e.g Battery life; Widescreen/non-widescreen; Glossy/Matte screen etc.) Check below
Shortlisted these, sorry for the long list

1. i5+512gb

2. R5 4600H+1tb/256gb

3. R5 5600H+512gb

4. 4600H+1tb

5. 5600H+512gb

6. rx5500m+512gb

7. 5600H+512gb

8. 5600H+3050+512gb

- Please suggest a laptop which is the easy to open, clean and upgrade at home
- What is the difference between Pavilion and Victus series?
- The disk space needed is 1tb atleast. So, please suggest a ssd which will the compatible for that laptop along with a 8gb ram.
- Lenovo so far seems a good option because as per photos on Flipkart it will be giving an adp but their customer support knows nothing about it. They are like ki agar likha hai to mil jaegi. Hp on the other side is offering no adp just one year warranty, Lenovo is offering it for 2 years.
- Is there any affiliate website giving cashback on laptop purchases online?

Edit: Since 1tb of disk space is needed, so an additional 512 gb m.2 nvme ssd will have to be purchased which costs around 6k https://www.flipkart.com/search?q=512 gb m.2 nvme ssd&otracker=search&otracker1=search&marketplace=FLIPKART&as-show=on&as=off The budget cannot exceed 60k if its a 1650 laptop and 65k if its a 3050 laptop. ssd+hdd combo which is inbuilt in few of the laptops mentioned above will also suffice. Two quick questions, how are laptops coming with 512gb ssd whereas most companies are selling 500gb ssd instead of 512gb? Second if we purchase an additional ssd then can the oem's service center install it on customer's behalf and is it even allowed to add an ssd?

It is costing 70k. Can you please tell which one is good among the list shared in the original post?
I'd suggest going against MSI do not buy msi laptops if possible their after sales service is horrendous. You can see many horror stories on reddit. Sometimes they are good but that's about 10 out of 100. But HP, DELL or Lenovo if possible.

This one seems good but as you said your max budget is 65k ish but which I'm suggesting is going for 70k https://www.amazon.in/dp/B09RX2S3C8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_CM1S251QWQMHDA8G0W1X

Try local dealers it is much possible you might get lower price than that of Amazon or Flipkart
Bhai that model is out of budget. These days online prices are better than offline market atleast in my city.

vs

The only difference is the refresh rate in these models, right? The difference after discounts between these models is around 2.5-3k. Does it make sense to go for the 144hz model if the major use will be office work+browsing and some videos/movies here and there? There will be no gaming at all. Lenovo in this budget is providing 2 year warranty+adp.

If you're not gonna game then high refresh rate display shouldn't be much of a concern I don't think you're gonna face issue with low refresh rate display. But if you're gonna game then high refresh rate display makes sense. I don't see much of a difference between both laptops except display's refresh rate. If you need any other help feel free to ask about it.

Price of every laptop increased by 7-8k just in a day on every website :(

Any idea, what is the reason for this sudden price bump?

Seeing the price increase by Rs 8000 overnight is very demotivating for the buyer.

If you have shortlisted any model from the list given in the first post, then please update the thread.

And were you able to find any good online source where the older rates were still available? Or else trying the offline route might be the only way to get the older rates.

Hi bro ordered the first one. The laptop is good but the prices have shot up for every laptop. Need to order one more, check this thread https://techenclave.com/threads/will-laptops-with-nvidia-30xx-gpus-be-up-for-sale.206365 Things have changed now, in the offline market the rates are higher than the online prices for every laptop
