Amazon India lightning deals

AMD Box came inside the amazon cardboard which was in turn inside the anti-tamper plastic pack. But the AMD Box itself looked a bit old and seemed like it was carefully opened and sealed from bottom.
in the last sale i had purchased R5 5600X, i got the package without the Cpu, someone opened the amd box from the bottom and removed the Cpu, i complained and got it replaced, this time i got a sealed box with the cpu inside... also i had taken a unboxing video coz of the unknown/shady seller... but amazon didn't ask for any proof, they just sent me a replacement after a few days...

P.s all the outer packaging were sealed...

Any 37K processor from 13th gen / Zen 4 will decimate 5950x while Zen 4 having an upgrade path. It may not be a good deal unless you have urgent need of a cpu or already have a supported AMD mobo.
Not necessarily. 12700k, which is currently priced around that point, is far behind 5950x in multi-core performance even though it's ahead in single threaded performance. And it's reasonable to assume that at this price point, you are interested in multi-core performance as single threaded performance is pretty cheap these days.

So first, 13700k or equivalent is unlikely to be priced at this level, and even with a decent jump in performance, it may still just match 5950x or barely inch ahead.

Raptor lake adds additional small cores to all of their SKUs. 13700K will be faster in single core as well as multi core performance. Intel has been consistent with their pricing all these years. I am expecting 13700K at the same price as 12700K.

Raptor lake doesn't yet have official launch date and assuming it launches by early next year, 13700k will be priced at around 50k at launch. Add to that the cost for new mobo and ddr5 (if going for high end mobos) Similarly zen 4 7950x will be atleast 70k at launch. basically if you need 16 cores then this is the best deal anytime soon

For zen4 the whole platform is getting changed. Ddr5 is pricey, Mobo will be pricey.
So in order to adopt the new you need change a lot, which will an expense
However, buying 5950x for 37k, you can use the current hardware , until ryzen 8000 comes up. As the same happened to first gen ryzen.. adoption really started with 2000 series.

No way the upcoming 7950x will be priced at 70K. Last time the MRP was 50K something for 5950x and they managed to sell for any price due to no competition from Intel and lockdown. As soon as 12th gen entered the market 5950x prices kept coming down. This time there is no such demand also.

Yes if some body already have a supported mobo then 5950x at 37K makes sense. But if it's a new build and not urgent then waiting make sense as newer stuff comes with more modern support as well as DDR5 prices have come down from the high and should continue declining.

Zowie mouse for 2100

Actually it’s less than that if you add some 100 rupee junk to it from the same seller

How are people returning ^ these keyboards with 7 day- replacement only policy on amazon? First replacement, and then return ?
Yes,
Also being avid user of such keyboards in the past, I guarantee you they won't last past their warranty mark. All 7 of my such keyboards failed within warranty, replaced them within warranty (cosmic byte is local to me - at least from where they ship replacements, so I almost always got replacement within a day) and then either sold them as working or for parts. Unless you just need them to annoy your roommates for a couple of months (with blue switches of course) I would say stay away from them.

Depends on usage pattern, be rough with it like a raging pro gamer and it won't last since chinese switches aren't meant to.
If used like a normal human being then I've known few people and it has last led for a few years

If anyone interested in "Open back headset with average mic" here is a good deal.
They have both 3.5 jack and USB headset on same amount of discount.
I can't share link. You have to manually search on Amazon. Sorry.

My usage was college work (max 2-3 hours of typing per day while connected to a laptop). Outemu switches do not last. And the boards aren't meant to last long either. These are just chinese rebranded imports, they have no repair facilities, they will just replace it with a working one if you RMA. If you want reliability, look elsewhere. My ₹500 HP wired membrane keyboard is still going strong since 6 years.
Gone? I see in Keepa that it was priced at mentioned price before 6AM today
